my IV Interview on 3rd week of August.

you are lucky here in the UK interview dates given out are usually with 2-4 weeks notice Or that is what appears to be happening when people post they have an interview. People are even struggling to get medical done before interview in fact some are after interview so they have to wait a few weeks before recieving their visa

Thanks - God Bless You

Hi, George, in fact no one knows for sure what will happen for August interviews. That is "Y" no reply! The situation is very fluid, Visa bulletin keeps changing ! Even the August visa bulletin, though "U" for all, speaks of a revision , if numbers are available. We have hope for at least August 17 to be fare! Apparently, this is the time for I-485s as nobody is talking clearly about CP interview on August. One good sign is that , there are talks of amendments on HR.1585 by Sen. Durbin (SA2237) and Sen.Cornyn (SA2143) for dream act and recaped visas. Though it won't help nurses directly, it will massivly reduce the current back log on EB#3, and allows visa flows freely.

having said these, I always value's and believe Suzenna's advise that there will be visas for those scheduled interviews in August. She is right at the end! and I think that is our common experience!

Staying posative my PD may 2005 and my case was completed at NVC 12th july 2007 the automated msg has not changed it still says wait 6-8 weeks for futher instruction so my case is still going on and i am praying that, as some have suggested, i have a visa laid aside for me:up:

Just rang NVC and the msg has changed to:

completed case forwarded to London embassy July 17th 2007:monkeydance::monkeydance:

Please god let there be a visa ready and we get interviewed ASAP.

bettyboop,

I do not want let you down, but how can we hope when consulates are cancelling interviews scheduled on August. Things will move on untill July 31st, You will receive your pack too, and then CP stops untill there are new developments, as of now!

I just bow my head saying a prayer and keep on moving as usual, ....as if I had a dream recently! It is interesting, the PCC's, medical all in a rush to be first on line..

Anyway, good luck to you!! and say the same prayer of your last line!!

Cheer UP!! There will be something from US congress for all of us!!

Just received a disappointing message from the consular section. My interview appointment schedulded for the 2oth of august has been cancelled since no visa numbers are available

What about the medical? Is it valid for 6 months?

How is that possible?...I thought a visa is already assigned for you when you have actually scheduled for an interview. This is just the saddest.:o

We are feeling for you, ambitious nurse. It seems like there are not anymore hard and fast rules concerning immigration now adays. Issuance of visas almost look arbitrary where we see those at back of the line getting visas first than you are.

Supposedly when an interview was set, a visa number has been set aside for you. We have seen this exception as becoming the rule and now it's happening again.

Nobody asked for July visa fiasco to happen. This might not have occurred if not for the flip-floppers own doing.

Let's just pray and hope for the best.

The recapped visas for this fiscal year have already been used. That is what was used for the July interviews and where the green cards came from for those that were under the AOS process. There are no more recapped visas to be had. Next new visas do not become available until next fiscal year which is October.

If you asked me before yesterday, I would have told you that there was a visa number for all of those that have appts scheduled for August, but now with this unexpected more by immigration yesterday, not so sure anymore. Something has to give. They cannot use up all of the recapped visas and yet accept petitions right now for the I-485.

And do I like it? No. Do I think that it should have happened at this point in time? No. Interviews were already made with some that have been waiting a significant time for this date, and now because some attorneys whined and complained, they opened things up but at the expense of those that have been waiting the longest. And do I think that it is fair? Of course not. But I do not get paid for each petition that I submit. The attorneys in many cases could care less when someone finally gets approval, their work has been done and they have been paid.

For those that were protesting about USCIS not accepting their petitions on July 2nd, what about those that are now going to get their interviews cancelled, and we are already hearing of some. Perhaps some of you should protest louder. You deserve to.
