my children are grow, have own careers & I am able to leave the RAT race & ride off onto the sunset. Would this be selfish of me @ age 54 .. Honestley?

My Dad retired at 50 (electrician at GM, my Mom didn't work), and they have been living it up ever since! Everyone said he would get bored be miserable at home, but it has been ten years and he is loving every minute of it!

If you can afford to do it, go for it!

Ha! This is my dad's plan exactly. He's retiring in in a couple years and then selling his bike here and buying a trike in Europe. His plan is to ride until he can't anymore. I'm so jealous.
