Right about now is when I start to get super jealous of all you (Primarily) Southern nurses.  I still have 64 days to go up here in MA....

In MA as well, just starting hybrid on March 29 (some students started on the 15th). We have 57 days left.

55 days! We've been in person since we started back and truly, I think it went the best it could have gone! It's been a year, and parents have been mean, but y'all. My kids have done AMAZING with the mitigation processes we have in place this year. I'm so proud of them!

54-The countdown is on! Full year in person minus a couple of quarantines for the entire middle and high school and one week extra over the holidays. I'm tired, but still amazed at how the year flew by!

47 on-campus days, plus one week after school ends!  Plus I took a little vaca in the middle, so it's 44 on-campus days for me. :-)  I think we are going to make it, friends!  Whew!

I'm skeptical on whether or not I'll make it... but hopeful!

54 for students, 55 for me.  S#!T show for sure. ❤️

I can see returning in the fall completely open.  CDC changed seat distances from 6 to 3 feet on Monday.

I'm now at 51 days, not counting today... I was feeling hopeful last week, but have developed an overwhelming sense of doom this week. Cases are rising in my area, and our public health nurse is very concerned. Last week at a vaccine clinic, she alluded to case counts rising rapidly and that even though we are considered "low risk" in my area, we should be donning PPE for medium to high risk for the clinic. And now this week, we have had 3 cases with ties to our district, which may take out entire chunks of our work force who cannot work remotely (I.e. cafeteria and custodial staff). I am hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. We're supposed to be full in-person 2 Mondays from now, and I can't help but feel like we are going to have to go remote again ?

Thursday is our last day before Spring break.   When we get back we have the last 35 day straight stretch to the end of the year.

Yes, as with many, I'm going to be happy to see this year finished.   Gee, I'm even happy to see us get to Spring break even though these longer holidays always make for a long day on both ends doing my cath duty.

I have 40 days after today! My kids have 45.

We've been 100% virtual up until this week, so professionally, it's been OK.

BUT it has been very stressful from a personal perspective as my kids' school has continuously changed their plans since early August-full time in person, hybrid 2 days per week in half days, full remote, hybrid 2 days per week in half days, hybrid 5 days per week in half days with a "promise" not to change their minds again followed by another decision TWO DAYS LATER to change to full time in person-this should start next week. So many planning days (class cancellations) have been called as they've changed their minds. I can't wait until June 1st when they're finally done. Sigh...

Yesssssss! 70 days including weekends and Holidays! Count downtime. Thought about Camp Nurse but since school will probably return at the End of July, I'm Chillin ?
