Davis Q & A New Format for 2010

Just curious if anyone else is using this and how they're doing??

I'm reviewing with Saunders Comprehensive and then Davis lets me 'itemize' a little better than the Saunders CD to take practice exam questions. I'm doing terrible, so I'm wondering if Davis is a little harder than the others.

Ok. just exactly what i need. Is it true that you can customize the practice question in the CD software, like you can input the number of questions you like to answer, 1-265 or more?

Yes, you can customize each test by

A. Any category of health alteration needs

B.Any client needs like basic care & comfort

C.Any cognitive level like analysis, application etc

D.Content area such as adult health, child healt

E.Nursing process

F. You can choose questions from the CD, book or both

In the different client needs, it is broken down into further sub categories. For example, under basic care in comfort, it has assistive devices, elimination,mobility & immobility etc.

You can choose how many questions you want from each category.

I just love how the book is organized. The questions I find them good for supplemental practice questions. The questions are great and it explains each answers' rationale. Definitely a great buy. :)

I had used LaCharity, Davis's, and Lippincott's alternative questions to review and I got a "good pop up" with 75 questions this morning

are the questions on the book good enough compare to the ones that are on the cd?

that is a nice sharing crystelle. do you think they will give me a rebate even if i did not buy the book from there website?

i bought my book as brand new from amazon.com. i hope they accept such. :)
