Just curious if anyone else is using this and how they're doing??
I'm reviewing with Saunders Comprehensive and then Davis lets me 'itemize' a little better than the Saunders CD to take practice exam questions. I'm doing terrible, so I'm wondering if Davis is a little harder than the others.
Hi, I have Kaplan 2010, NCLEX 4000 2010, Davis 2010 and Alternate Stategies. I have not started reviewing, but have taken 75 question quizzes from all of them, and consistently get 65 to 68 for total scores. I find them to be pretty much on, par, but each of them gives me a headache in some area or another. Now I have to buckle down and study my weak areas....yay, more studying in the middle of a gorgeous summer!!!
hey guys....I mainly did questions from Davis 2010 for the the new nclex format. I did horrible on the practice tests/quizzes, rarely scored above 60-65%. However, i just took my nclex-rn a couple of days ago and i found out today that I passed....so it is a successful book! Oh yeah, i did not do kaplan or any other review besides Davis and sometimes saunders. And trust me, I was not a great nursing student.....so if you are interested in this book-get it!
I just did 75 Q's out of the back of Davis's 2010 book and got 70% (practice test in chapter 12)
I did them there and then in Barnes and Noble!
What do you all think? Did anyone think the practice exams in the back of the book were hard?
I have booked exam for September 10th..........no funds for expensive review and i am overseas trained as well........ starting to freak out somewhat!
All input appreciated!!!
Just want bump this thread up. I'm currently using Davis and finding the Qs very challenging and I'm not scoring
very well at all. The book says aim for 80% but i'm scoring 50-60's. So not a good sign then? I've read on this
thread that some scored same as I am and passed NCLEX with the minimum.
