What is your current 2015 pay as an LPN/LVN?

California. I was employed for a different school district with different job, and after graduating LVN, I just kinda started applying for school jobs. I have 3 kids, so schools schedules are perfect for moms. I pretty much landed this job by luck. Its hard to get into the school system here, because it is such a good job. I am alone in my office, so it does have some down sides. I know at other schools the LVN works 1on1 with a special needs child all day, where here, I am running the Health Office for sick and injured kids.

$35.00/hr inpatient adult psych unit on long island. Paid benefits, unionized, vested after 5 years. Will retire at 55 yrs old with full pension after 34 yrs of service...only 7 more years..LOL. Granted i have been working here for almost 27 years and started at 21 yrs old in peds where i worked for 24 years and now psych for last 3 years. Was very lucky to get this job when i did.

I'm from San Antonio too. What nursing homes do you recommend for a newly licensed LVN?

I have been out of school for about 2 1/2 years and just now started my job search due to some stips I needed to have removed by the BON.

$20.41 in Iowa

18.21 an hour, with a 1 shift premium for being 3rd shift, 4 dollars more an hour if I pick up a weekday shift (4.5 hours or more), 6 dollars more an hour if I pick up a weekend shift (4.5 hours or more), and 8 dollars more an hour if I pick up a holiday. I am a LPN charge nurse at a LTC facility in Michigan.

Hi, I am a newly licensed LVN in the bay area in CA. This is my first job after school, and I currently work at an SNF. Their rate for new grads at this facility is 25.50/ hour.
