2015 Current LPN Pay

Published

What is your current 2015 pay as an LPN/LVN?

I'm Canadian and in Ontario we're called Registered Practical Nurses...

I make $15 an hour working at a retirement home.

Nursing home nurses make $22-26 an hour usually.

Hospital nurses make $28ish but they don't want new graduates and it's super difficult to get into a hospital.

My full time hourly rate when I was a LPN was 12.00 plus shift diffs in GA.

$17/hr plus $1/hr noc differential. High acuity pediatric PDN in southern CA for national HHA.

Working since 2011.

I'm definitely getting ripped off..

I was offered $19.5/hr (ltc facility south chicago suburb) am shift with $2/hr shift diff on pms and $3/hr hs

Also $25/hr at a staffing agency that always has work available

I know i can get a higher wage at other ltc facilities but this one is close to home, has a good reputation, a low pt load, and great training for new nurses, between the 2 jobs i can make a good earning

I've been working as a LPN for 10months now here in Philly. I have two jobs, my main job that do full time pays $28 with benefits and my per diem job pays $26 without.

What city is this?

What type of nursing do you do?

$45 per visit excluding mileage , bay area California home health/ hospice Lvn with 1 year experience - bi lingual 5-6 patients a day

$32.68 in Sacramento, CA

where did you start at first??

I started at that rate with that company. I came from 2 previous companies that paid $21 & $25.50.
