Re: use of LPN. In hospital setting in N.J Is it the trend now in NJ to eliminate Lpn ? I have the same position for35 years and make 25.22 an hour. Now my position is going to be eliminated . Was advised on March 2-2015, my last day to work is April 4 Th. I am interviewing in the out pt area of the hospital but everything happened so swiftly, I am in a turmoil !!

NYC $27/HR (Agency), 1 year experience in Hospital-Med/Surg floor. Graduated in June 2013, license in August, first position in Homecare $20/hr. Looking for other options to work, so far it seems its either clinics, methadone clinics and nursing home. Has anyone found per diem positions in the NYC area?

Wow that would be an awesome job to have. I might consider being a school nurse. How do you like it?
