A man in Canada has punched a nurse in the face for giving his wife a Covid vaccine.
Just wondering what sort of abuse has other nurses suffered from the public or even patients and it doesn't have to be just giving Covid vaccines.

Yes, I've heard this as well. However, this isn't what @Curious1997 had in mind.

Fortunately, he's not in a position to make those choices...he's just a frustrated health professional posting anonymously on a digital platform.

Ditto, and I have Adblock.

I need to cull the stupid herd! This freedom *** is only applicable to people who demonstrates the ability to understand freedom and its implications!
If you choose to live in society, then you obey the rules and laws of the society or be banished to Texas or Florida etc.
I propose making Texas and other republican states, the penal states for habitual criminals. The blue states foot the bill for everything anyway since we are the most educated and productive. If you want to catfish noodle or go to Nascar etc., move to Texas etc so that you won't be inconvenienced by long journeys and you can be with your own people! You shouldn't have to put up with us liberals with out law abiding ways, educated civilized behaviors and work ethics!
I'm from Texas, and there are many millions of us who are trying to elect sane and compassionate leaders. We came very close to electing Beto over Cruz (and how I rue the day we fell short). Our biggest cities lean blue.
In other words, don't send us all the idiots. We have more than we can handle right now, but we are not all idiots, not by a long shot.

Then collectively file lawsuits against individual legislators for any reason pertaining to bias, bribery, profiteering etc, in a which one will stick fashion, until you find a compassionate judge, then let the discovery process take its course!
You bring down a mountain, one stone at a time.
No offense but they would have violated a sheep or a cow in the past or something similarly stupid. You don't become a GOP legislator without being a jerk for most of your life! That's a guaranteeeed fact ???

I feel for the nurse, but even worse for the wife.
While I do feel like he is jerk. I read the story and we don't know all of it, nothing ever is right about punching a nurse, but it does not even state if she was able to make decisions for herself. Do we know if she was able to give consent?

The nurse had a partner in crime out on the street who drug this patient into the pharmacy and made her stand in line and made her wait until her name was called and made her sit down in a chair and expose her arm?
Or maybe she thought she was in line for the deli and was shocked when she was suddenly vaccinated instead of getting her turn to order a pound of ham?
Where was this vicious attacker when his "charge" (were that the case) was out on the town standing in random lines?

There are no actual nurses who would post the nonsense you are responding to.
Next thing will be something about there being good people on both sides of this altercation. It's political shock value.

Why would there be any question as to whether she gave consent? There's zero evidence that she was vaccinated against her will.

I heard in the TV news that the insurance companies are going to stop paying the complete cost for hospitalizations related to COVID. (I didn't realize that they HAD been paying this.) According to the news, the insurance companies are going to pay for COVID exactly the same way they pay for everything else, with deductibles and co-pays.
