I believe Timothy recently asked what a good nursing organization would look like. It should look like this web site, all inclusive. Hello to all CNA's out there.:welcome:

Yes, it should.

150,000 strong and all-inclusive with nurses and CNAs from all walks of life and all persuasions.

What an unstoppable force we'd be.

Great idea for this forum! I'm a LPN student and applied for a CNA job today so hopefully I'll soon have something to contribute to this forum!

Welcome to the CNA Forum. I will be Moderating this Forum and hope to share and gain insight into the wonderful and important role of the CNA Nursing Assistant in today’s complex and demanding world of Health Care. Perhaps, you are working as a CNA in your chosen career. Perhaps, being a CNA is a prerequisite for Nursing School. I do know that as a CNA Nursing Assistant your role is vitally important in allowing the Nurse to perform his/her duties, you provide much (if not most) of the direct personal care of the patient, and you are a valuable component in all Health Care settings.

The emphasis of the Forum is to share those unique challenges of the CNA Nursing Assistant and focus on problem solving and supporting one another. One thing is for certain, the responsibilities of today’s CNA are enormous and a huge challenge. Let’s talk about those issues. My personal goal is to learn and support as I Moderate this Forum in a positive direction. Please let me know what I may do to help.

Feel free to PM me if needed if there is something that can not be discussed on he BB and it is brief. I do prefer to keep questions and issues on the BB so we can ALL learn here on AllNurses.

Again, Welcome and happy posting!

I merged the Threads with the Announcement. I hope you like the way it looks so far. Thank you to the sharp AllNurses posters for writing in before I got the Announcement posted. It sort of reminds me of the joke, How many Nurses does it take to screw in a light bulb? Well for the writing of the Announcement it took three; One to have the idea and two to edit and proof. Thank you to Siri and VickyRN for helping get this project up an running and for being available. You could say, "This was an across the coast effort". Most importantly, thank you to Brian for allowing us to have a Forum for the CNA Nurse Assistant.

Thank you to all for your patience in getting this up and running. Happy posting! ;)

Thank you for this forum! I won't be harassing you all on the other forums anymore! :)

I am planning on getting into the CNA program this Feb., and this site and all the people who gave their inputs helped me a lot on my decision making on whether I should get into the program. After all the browsing and reading, I am 100% positive now that I'd like to get into the program first before continuing to become an RN. YAY! I must say this website is the best!!! Hope this will continue 'til forever!!! Sorry guys, I'm just soooo happy that I found website.
