Hi all! i just got a call from nursing home they accepted me for 2 weeks cna class this september 6 and its for free condition if you work for them if not you need to pay 100 something. Any suggestion what books to buy! cause when she called me i asked her if i should buy some books she said nope now i'm bit confused. Any idea guys cna books?

Hi Nony congratulations! I tried to get in the program this year but grrrrrrr its too late...i need to wait next year cause driving from hallettsville to victoria is too much i think. We just moved here in lavaca from victoria hehehe too confusing. While waiting i applied for cna program for 2 weeks in a nursing home here in lavaca, i hope they will give me a call saying you got it lol. I have a BSA-accounting degree in my country(asia) but still hard to find a job here in usa specially i don't have any experience here. Just been here in a year now - 9 months in victoria just 3 months something in lavaca. Any suggestions what review materials like books for the NET exam?

Hi all! i am from PI also a filipina but right now in Tx, USA. I do really want to study lvn here but i don't have any idea how the schooling works here ya know, the requirements to get to that program- the cost such as tuition fee, books, uniforms and stuffs like that. I don't even know what books to get to help me to pass as what they called Net exam oh geez don't even know what is that..maybe an entrance exam?? If anybody knows about lvn here in usa please let me know.

Hi smile, i am a filipino also who live in texas and try to go back to school-lvn as for now. I can't enrol this year cause i need to get a hep and tb skin test and also take the net exam. I can't believe its soo hard to get enrol here not like in pi its so easy no need for vaccination and waiting just to go back to school.. too confusing sometimes. Bdw, what reading materials, books- tittle author, cd's or sample questions for the net test can we buy them online? i don't really know were to get them i need to study even thought got an accounting degree in pi still hard to find a job here in usa thats why i've decided to take lvn program as for now. I am not working now and no kids my husband will gonna pay for the tuition fee, books, uniform stuffs like that mainly everything cause i don't have an income. Hi all i am from victoria texas but orignally from asia - newbie here in the usa. I was just wondering if anybody knows about victoria college cause i'm planning to take lvn for 12 months there. I did not really call or visit the school to ask some information my husband just give me the school requirements for the lvn program and i thought i can just enroll right away cause i got my accounting degree for 5 years in our country(asia) but i am wrong. Now i am really confused cause in the booklet you need to take the net exam, the hepa vaccination for 6 months??? and the tb skin test so i guess it means i can't enrol this year, frustrating sometimes cause i do really want to go back to school and learn new things. I think my luck is next year but the problem is i don't really know what reading materials should i get for the net exam so that i can be prepare, ya know like books, or maybe some cd's, some sample questions for the net exam. My husband is really busy working and he can't help me with this.. except he is the one paying for the tuition fee and thats another thing we don't know how much it cost us for that 12 month program. Somebody told us maybe 4,000$ for that does anybody knows how much you think it will cost us and also i want to know wer to buy some books, pointers stuffs like that. Appreciate your response guys..
