Had a kid bring his wet, bloody tooth and plop it right on my desk.

C'mon now!

Or the kid that did running knee slide into my office.

C'mon now!

The ones old enough to cover their mouths but choose to cough right in your face instead.

All together: C'mon now!!

Some things just make me shake my head.

Dust in the eye = trip to bathroom to rinse not trip to the nurse. Honestly what do these kids do when they have these minor complaints on the weekends?? C'Mon now!!

Remarkably, my undiagnosed dizzy, vertigo girl complete with doctor's note, has been completely fine on this trip! It's a miracle! Cmon now!

Miracles happen here every day!! it's remarkable! Those who were sooo sick all day suddenly perk up at the end of the day. Those who can't walk suddenly can when they realize that it's not just PE that they are missing, but that their baseball team actually has a GAME today. Those who were supposedly puking their guts up are suddenly feeling "much better" when they see their class mate's mom drop off a birthday treat. Lord, it's a miracle!

"I think I have a stomach cramp"

Really?!? C'mon Now!

Coming with a headache 5 minutes before lunch  seriously. No! C'Mon now!! Stop sending them for that. Unless they look terrible, I'm probably just going to tell them to see how they feel after they eat. 98% of the time they never return

First hot day we've had in ages.

Multiple 1st and 2nd graders coming in after recess overheated, flushed.

Really????? This is worthy of a nurse visit? :sarcastic:

Drink of water and back to class with you.....C'mon now!

They are running a mile in PE today. I have had at least 10 kids come in with stomach aches and ask to be excused from PE once they heard what day it was. C'mon now! At a brisk walk, it is 15 minutes of your life. Just get out there and do it!

15 minute miles? That's crawling!

I know! So if they walk at 4.0 mph, they will be done! Ug!

"My shoulder itches."

Well, your sunburn (you got while vacationing on Maui for a week, poor baby) is healing… don't scratch it.

C'mon now!

Yeah...It would probably take me 15 minutes to do a mile, and then I would need to see the nurse for my upper legs burning and itching. :sorry:

I am incredibly out of shape.
