I dont' have any rules posted. I have K-12, and for the most part everyone is respectful and follows the rules. Besides, they know if they come in and are loud/obnoxious/laughing ect., then they are going right back as they must not be very sick. The one constant reminder I do give out is "It's not your concern".
Why is Johnny on your couch? Not your concern!
Why does he come here everyday after lunch? Not your concern!
What happened to her? Not your concern!
So if I did hang a sign, that's all it would say!
I am constantly telling student A to stop asking student B why there are here. Seriously!!! MYOB!!!!
I also have been known to call out "YOU'RE WELCOME!" when students leave my office with no polite tone or thank you.
I will also just stare at students expectantly until they say please.
I am big on manners.

THIS x 100.
I came back from the guidance office to find not one, not two but 4 HS kids lounging in my waiting area. There is a sign on the door that states to check in with the office if I am not there,...they could not understand why I was irritated.
I also make them say please and thank you to their parents/guardians when they are on the phone with them. Their parents may be classless idiots, but somebody needs to teach them some manners. You don't just demand someone bring you something or come and pick you up.
No rules list. I run a pretty casual office. I want it to be a safe place to come. Working in a high school, my role is as much mental health as physical health. I do inform that my office is rated "PG" so keep the language nice. Oh and nobody, but nobody plays in my wheelchair![emoji13]
I don't have rules posted in the clinic, but I did make signs for the bathroom.
"Be sweet, lower the seat."
"Don't rush, please flush."
"Wash your hands."
"Dry your hands."
Why do kids wash their hands and then walk out with them dripping everywhere!? Drives me nuts.
If they are misbehaving or disrespectful I just call them out on the spot. Had a 1st grader run and slide into my office on his knees for fun. Umm....No, get up, go back, and walk.

Hi, does anyone have clinic rules (expectations) posted in their clinic? I'm a new school nurse but I'm a former teacher. I know the job descriptions & settings are very different but after my first 3 days I noticed that a lot of the middle school students need reminders about behaviors as they enter the clinic. Any feed back is welcomed.
