i was just wondering how many of us who are hoping to graduate in 2007 and/or who are just starting to take the pre-reqs this fall semester. i thought it might be nice to maybe get to know one another a little better. :)

[color=#4b0082]my name is kel, and i'm a 32 y/o married sahm to 4 children (ages 4, 5, 9 and 11). i'm a surfer/beach bum who's been transplanted in michigan, where i'll be attending southwestern michigan college. my classes start on 8/30, and i'm taking anatomy, psychology, and algebra this semester. i'm working for my adn and hope to work in l/d one day.

hi all...i am in my 4th semester at community college...i have about 3 semesters to go til i am finished w/ my pre-req's...i hope to apply to an adn or bsn degree program in spring of 2006...i am 19 y/o and am taking sociology, algebra 2, psychology, engl 1b, and microbiology this fall...kind of a big load but i want to be finished asap!!! i sucks tho b/c at my college the nursing program is sooooo impacted that they do a lottery...only 30 out 0f 150 get in!!!!!

Hello everyone...

my name is Megan and I attend the University of Wisconsin...applying to the BSN program this fall! Gosh I'm nervous, it is VERY competitive, but I guess you guys all know this by now! Starting 2nd year of prereqs....fall semester is micro, stats, linguistics, and human development. Hopefully will be wearing that cap and gown in '07!Anyone else in Madison, or a younger student (I'm 19), or interested in going on to get their masters someday please let me know, I'd love to keep in touch

hi dashergirl, i am a younger student like you (19 yrs old) i will be applying to nursing school in spring 2006...so im not really class of 2007....more like 2008....gosh that seems like im gonna be goin to school forever! but hey im young...this semester im taking: developmental psych, engl 1B, algebra 2, microbiology (no lab), intro sociology...what kind of nursing are you interested in??

I lurk a lot, hope to participate more!

I'm 23, SAHM to two little boys. I am doing three prereqs this semester, psych, chem and bio 156. My program starts in Feb. I am very nervous! I know this is going to be hard, and so far the prereqs are a little intense but I'm enjoying myself. I hope that continues!

The program I'm going into is interesting. I didn't need prereqs because it's just the first year or an ADN program. After that year I can take the NCLEX-PN. Then I will finish out my prereqs and take that second year (hopefully working *very* parttime as an LPN) and finish and take the NCLEX.

I do hope to go on to get my BSN one day, but right now I am just trying to get through the ADN! I was just happy to be lucky enough not to have to wait too long to get into nursing school!

I'm new to this thread, but I'll be starting nursing school in June 2005 in the accelerated BSN 13.5 month program at Johns Hopkins! I'm finishing up the last 2 pre-reqs this quarter; my last final is March 22nd! I'm very excited to be starting my new career!

I'm here! I'm enjoying A&P 2 actually and I'm also taking algebra. This summer I'm taking Micro and either ENG 102 or a humanities elective. Then in August I start clinicals and my core nursing classes!! WOOHOO! I'm scared to death LOL

I'm newbie

I am 20 years old and a mom to jessie who be 3 in june. I live in minneapolis and I will starting my pre-req's this summer: College reading and Gen.Psyc. I won't be able to apply to the ADN program until spring of 07'....seems like years from now

I'm new to the boards. I'm going to be starting some pre-reqs this fall and reapplying for the nursing program in Spring 2006. If all goes well I should graduate by Dec. of 2007 :D I wanted to say how nice it is to see that I'm not the only one going through all of this mess :chuckle

I'm 26 and married. I'm really excited about pursuing my RN and my husband is excited too. It's nice to have support at home :flowersfo
