i was just wondering how many of us who are hoping to graduate in 2007 and/or who are just starting to take the pre-reqs this fall semester. i thought it might be nice to maybe get to know one another a little better. :)

[color=#4b0082]my name is kel, and i'm a 32 y/o married sahm to 4 children (ages 4, 5, 9 and 11). i'm a surfer/beach bum who's been transplanted in michigan, where i'll be attending southwestern michigan college. my classes start on 8/30, and i'm taking anatomy, psychology, and algebra this semester. i'm working for my adn and hope to work in l/d one day.

Bonjour!! Katrin here. I am 24 and mom to Hannah who will be 3 in November. I live in CT. I will be done with prereqs in the spring and in January will be apllying with our schools transfer program with another CC for the ADN program. Unfortunately they only start in the Fall. So I am hoping to start in Fall of 05 and graduate summer of 07.

This semester I will be taking A&P 1 and Chemistry.

hello!!!!!

starting adn program aug 23rd!!! taking sociology & death dying & bereavement, technically all my pre-req's are done but i am taking the non nursing courses now to be able to do just straight nusing courses in the fall '05. i'm am 28, married and have 2 boys brock 5 months, and hunter 17 months. i live in upstate ny. :p hope we can all get to know each other better=we're in the same spot!!!

hey everyone! i am working on my pre reqs right now. i have to get enough points from doing well this fall to apply for the '05 class in january. i also have to take the health occupancy aptitude exam and score well on it. i am scared but i feel this is a challenge i can overcome and succeed at. i'm a single unemployed mom of a 13 year old living in western nc. we should all keep in touch every quarter/semester to see how we're doing towards our 2007 goal! maggie

Hello Classmates! Just a few classes left to finish up (Physiology & lab, pharmacology), before I start hard core nursing classses in Fall of 05'.

Hello everyone! I'm also starting my pre-req's this Fall and I am so excited. It's good to know that I have all of you guys and girls here to share my experinces with. I'm sure nursing school will be a challenge for all of us, but we will make it thru. I start classes Aug. 30th and I will be taking A & P 1, Chem 1, Intro to the Nursing Profession. Hi all :) I'm 27-yrs-old and married, continuing with pre-reqs this fall in Hawaii (classes start on 8/23...getting anxious to get going!). I'm taking A&P1, stats, nutrition, and human growth/development. I'll have Micro, A&P2, and Eng 1102 to finish up in the spring. I'm applying for both BSN and ADN programs for fall '05 in the Dec/Jan timeframe (I have yet to take the NET), with CRNA in mind as my final goal.

Since I'm taking my classes online this semester, it's nice to hear from others that are around the same area I am in regards to wanting to start next fall/graduate in 2007. I'll be looking back to see how everyone's classes and such are going. :p

Hi! My name is Renee. I am 20 and currently in massachusetts, but will moving back to Texas next month. I wont be able to start pre-reqs until January, and then I am really hoping to start actual nursing courses fall '05. Good luck to everyone.

I am just starting out also. Classes here in Texas (DFW) start Aug 23rd. I am excited and very nervous. I am going part-time for now, and I am taking DMAT and Psychology. I am 28 years young, SAHM of an eleven month old girl, and devoted wife of a wonderful husband. I hope all goes well with everyone. I have my fingers crossed to get excellent grades on my prereqs =]

Hi everyone,

I am Tina and I am 33 years old with a 4 year old daughter and a dear husband and I started today with Orientation and I will be taking Human Anatomy and Physiology I, Chemistry with a lab, English Comp and Sociology along with my Freshman nursing classes. Hello Everyone,

I am a married (going on 10 wonderful years) mother of a 5 year old boy and 6 year old girl. I'm taking A&P this fall and I will be starting the ADN program Fall '05. I am so very excited. I have been reading my A&P book so that I won't be cold when class starts.

I will be a SAHM after August 16th because I had to quit my job to be a part of this special pre-nursing group at my CC. So we'll be eating beans and rice in my home for the next few years but hey...lots of protein!:rotfl:

This was a great idea for a thread.
