i was just wondering how many of us who are hoping to graduate in 2007 and/or who are just starting to take the pre-reqs this fall semester. i thought it might be nice to maybe get to know one another a little better. :)

Hi there, I'm Tessa and I'm 33. I'm married (Sept 8th, 2001) with no kids yet. I started with my first pre req this summer ( Anthro II) I'm taking Speech and Dev Psych this fall. I'm hoping to Graduate 2007 as well. I'm taking courses at Riverside Community College for now, although I heard that there is another college here in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. that offers a Health Science Career Ladder program that helps you get the courses you need to graduate. I may transfer to that school. I'm glad that there is a site dedicated to nursing! I read this site daily! Good Luck to you all!!!!!
My name is Vanessa, I am 26 years old and currently working on my second degree, A BSN in Nursing at Long Island University. I am doing evening and weekends and working during the day, I am single and have no kids. Like many others on this site have said getting this degree is going to take me alot longer than i expected.I have finished my prequites and am starting the nursing phase. I am bit scared but know I know that it will pay off in the end.

I hope to be a 2007 BSN graduate. I have a few more pre-reqs to take (microbiology, principles of biology, 2 quarters of chemistry, a history class and a speech class). Depending on which nursing school I get into, I will start in summer or fall of 2005 and will graduate in 2007.
How can you start the program before your prereqs?
