CA NCLEX Takers...How Long For Results?

Hi All,

I am new here and just wanted to see how long it took for the Cali takers to get their results. I know it is supposed to be about a month, but one girl I know got hers in 11 days. I guess I am just trying to see what the average is. I took mine on May 7th and I am going bonkers!

just got the mail not expecting anything - but "the letter" was there and I PASSED!!! It was sent on June 2nd, the outside envelope is stamped June 2nd but it was sent to my old address for some weird reason. I changed my address months ago and I have also called the board and they always go over the address info and seem to have my new address but for whatever reason, it was sent on June 2nd, and the forwarding was the holdup. It's strange, I mean it feels very strange after having to wait sooo long!

Thank you! I am driving up to Sacramento tomorrow or else it says 3-4 weeks to get my license through the mail which would mean more waiting for the mail to come and I don't wanna do that! Some of my friends have said employers want to see the actual license, not just the letter saying you have passed the NCLEX! And I will gladly drive to Sacramento to get that license! it will be a nice day trip...

Hey everyone...

just wanted to say.. that it's been 3 weeks since taking my test on May 27th... so I'm still waiting...

please keep me in your prayers during this agonizing wait .. thanks! congrats to all who have passed... and those still in the same boat as me.. (waiting) I'll pray for you too!

The wait is usually just about a week to see your name on their website from when the bill is sent out and paid, not three to four weeks from now to get it issued.

Best of luck to you as you start your new career.

I meant 3-4 weeks to get the actual card, some of my friends have told me employers want to see the actual card??? and I wasn't doing anything anyhow so was happy and excited to make the drive up! (Plus I had a sick curiosity to see what the BVNPT looked like! see what they are doing after I waited 5 weeks for my results!) I just hope my name is up on the website soon! They gave me a temporary card until I receive the permanent one, they said the permanent license gets sent from Chicago of all places! Well, at least the wait is over, that was awful!

You will not see your name online until after you have received your results and paid for your license. That is how Ca works

This is what I was talking about, it is usually just a week or so once you find out that you have passed and sent in the money to them.

It is three to four weeks from when the exam is written, not times 2 for a wait that long, that would make it closer to two months and that is definitely not the case at all.

Not aware of it coming from Chicago, but that still does not slow things down at all. And cards are printed and in the mail in just days, does not take time at all to process, they are just interested in getting their money.

But glad to hear that you have something in writing in your pocket, best of luck on your new career.
