CA NCLEX Takers...How Long For Results?

Hi All,

I am new here and just wanted to see how long it took for the Cali takers to get their results. I know it is supposed to be about a month, but one girl I know got hers in 11 days. I guess I am just trying to see what the average is. I took mine on May 7th and I am going bonkers!

I am waiting to take my exam on the 24th but have two classmates that took theirs last Saturday. Their names were listed on the BRN website today. They both passed! You can look your names under license verification. It only took 5 days for my friends (I heard it was longer because they took the test on a Saturday)

congrats! I got the mail today, nothing, so I still wait...but I am so happy for you!!! what a relief!!! you waited how long? 6 weeks? it is 5 weeks today for me!...

Thanks! It was 7 weeks for me. The longest 7 weeks of my life I think.

yes, you can check on the BRN website after 48 hours...thats what I've heard from previous NCLEX takers and my kaplan instructor...but sometimes it may take longer!!!

it's different for LVN, our name is not posted until we have received results and have then paid our money...drats!

ok, got the mail, nothing...so tomorrow is Friday the 13th? great!...

yes, you can check on the BRN website after 48 hours...thats what I've heard from previous NCLEX takers and my kaplan instructor...but sometimes it may take longer!!!

Sorry, but most will not see their name up in 48 hours. And shame on your instructor for telling you that.

Average wait time is actually ten days, and can be up to a month.

The earliest is two to three days, but that is not the case for most as the BRN will permit one to test before they have a completed file on them.

HannaBee.. dont worry. just give them another call because they said your letter was mailed before mine and i'm further. it doesn't make any sense. this has to be the most frustrating thing!

yes mail came today, nothing...maybe it was lost? so I'm calling now...

HannaBee... Did they say what happened to the letter??? OMG What is going on with the mail over there? If it goes out you should be getting it within the week. My letter took 3 days. I hope you get it this week. The waiting is absolute torchure isn't it!. I know how you feel.

They just said they would resend the letter. I kinda thought maybe it would magically appear on Saturday but it didn't. It's strange because you hear of this happening to people but I think for most people (in California) the wait is 3-4 weeks. I never thought I would be one of those people with the amazingly long wait! I mean it will be going on 6 weeks soon! That's hard to believe!
