CA NCLEX Takers...How Long For Results?

Hi All,

I am new here and just wanted to see how long it took for the Cali takers to get their results. I know it is supposed to be about a month, but one girl I know got hers in 11 days. I guess I am just trying to see what the average is. I took mine on May 7th and I am going bonkers!

I just want to let you know that all will be well. I got my letter yesterday with a pass after my second try. I took my test on May 19 and am sure yours is on the way. By the way the comp stopped at 85 too. One thing i know for sure, when the envelope is lighter, its good news in it. Am so glad i made it. Good luck to you too and i will be checking out to confirm your good news.

hopefully I'll get that letter of good news that I have passed... I really have been thinking positively and praying a lot... I keep picturing myself opening up that letter and seeing those words "PASS" and then just start balling cuz it would feel like a ton of bricks just lifted off my shoulders... for the past 4 days I've been having really bad neck pains and just last night I checked my bp and it was higher than normal... 142/92 and my normal is around 120/72... I know it's because of the stress! I hope to hear good news soon so I hopefully get a good job soon that offers good benefits (cuz my current job doesn't offer any for me)... and so then I can start taking care of myself!

Sorry, but thats what I've heard...and its scary...Like what if our name isn't in the BRN website, then we would be in so much anxiety...All of my friends who took the NCLEX swear that their names were in the website 2 days after...but I guess youre right...THANKS Suzanne...I feel better that it is actually 10 days to a month! :)

You are quite welcome. I find it quite disheartening when rumors get potentiated like this and there is no reason for it. There is also no time line given by the BRN as to when they have to let you know your results either.

Normally, you will get results within two weeks, if you do not by then, contact them to see if anything is missing from your file. But please wait until then as every phone call slows down processing of the licenses.

I finally have my name on the website. Still waiting for the license. It's been 2 weeks since I've sent it.

FYI- After this summer course of school starting in July I can turn in my application for the RN program. Wish me luck!!!

It was just a holiday weekend, so please do not expect things this week. Also a very large number of applicants are being processed so it has been longer for most during the past 6 weeks or so. Expect at least another week or so and count yourself lucky if you get it before.

I know this is the worse feeling, to know that one failed. I am almost sure I didn't pass because some of you tested on july 2nd, would know your results by now?

I tested on july 2nd, and didn't see my name on the BON!

It updated yesterday, and my file is complete....Any feedback?

I am just disappointed....once again!

hey jazzysmika dont worry im on the same boat as you are... im still waiting for my results and i took my test last july 3.. i'm not really sure of this but in CA you need to wait for an average of 10 days, 2-3 days minimum and i think 4 weeks is the maximum.. hang in there we shall receive our results soon... im in CA too and I'm really anxious waiting for the results.. I also checked the CA BRN and still my name wasn't there... well, all we need to do now is pray and hopefully we become RN's.. goodluck! GOD bless us..

Thanks. I know that some people have tested on june 27th and didn't find out until July 2nd as it updated then, but it is just nerve wrecking because I feel like I failed, not confident at all. I am only confident of my study methods, and completing the review content and Kaplan-strategies. So, we will see. I wish you the best in luck and when it is time, the Lord will bless us both! it usually takes 3-4 weeks, but if you're from california and have an SS as they say, you get it earlier. i took the exam on may 5, and got the results on May 12, so i waited for only a week.

I finally got my letter today and I passed. I'd like to say the waiting is over but now I have to wait for my license. BUT... the worse part is over. :loveya:
