CA NCLEX Takers...How Long For Results?

Thanks! It was 7 weeks for me. The longest 7 weeks of my life I think.

hi! just wanna ask if did you get the result online? or from snail-mail?.. thank you!.. im still waiting for my result, it's been 4 days now.

If one has a SSN# and wrote the RN exam, then the name will be posted on the website of the BRN. Average wait time is ten days, not three to four. And can take up to a month or so.

If no SSN#, then results are mailed out about 2 1/2 weeks after testing.

If for the PN exam, results are not mailed out until about a month later now and there is no way to see your name on their site as they do not issue a license without paying the fee for the license. You get the bill in the mail when you get the letter that you have passed.

I took my NCLEX-RN exam on Wed, July 16th. My name is not on the BRN website yet. I'm upset because I've spoken with 10 other classmates who took the test (and passed) and they all knew their results within 72 hours. They all thought mine would be updated by this morning! A coulpe of them are saying I must not have passed then.

Is it possible they are wrong and it is, for some reason, taking longer to update my test than others from the same school???? Why would that be????

we're on the same boat..took mine last wed,same date as yours and i check the website today if my name is on the web but unfortunately not..it stopped at 216 and this is my 4th time to take the test

this is soooo depressing!

do you have major test anxiety? I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest and onto the screen during the exam!

it was my 4th take..the 1st 3,i failed at 75..before taking the 4th exam,i enrolled at kaplan and it seems to help..my 4th exam stopped at 216...my friend told me that i should stay away from the computer because my anxiety will only increase.hehehe

Well, this was my first time (got 75 questions) and I took Kaplans. I did all the qbank questions, all the tests, listened to the content. I even did extra questions from a Saunders CD. If I don't pass, I won't know what else to do!

maybe your file in the ca brn is not yet complete that's why they cant post your name yet on the web...

maybe your file on the ca brn is not yet complete that's why your result is not yet processed

I took my test June 14. It has been 5 weeks today and I have not got my results yet. I called the state board on Friday and they told me they were working on June 8 and it would be another week. My friend took hers June 10 and still no results. They are taking 6 to 7 weeks. Once you recieve your results and pay the $125 for your license then it takes another 3 to 4 weeks to get your license. I had 85 questions so I am praying I passed, but the wait is killing me.

It's frustrating to know that all the classmates I've talked to received results in 3 days. That leads me to believe that I did not pass. I am praying I'm an exception to the rule but don't feel this is likely. I can't remember the last time I have felt so down.... :cry:

anyone know anyone else whose results took longer than that? From what I am reading on this blog, most CA nclex-rn students have had a 3 day turnaround. Is there no hope?
