Become a Nurse without Nursing School

Anyone know of any opportunities abroad to become a nurse thru apprenticeship rather than thru traditional education?

(I'm fed up with looking for accelerated programs, having to meet bogus requirements, etc. I'd rather just do on-the-job training for 3/4 the pay in some other country. Anyone know of anything like this?)

What will it take to make this happen? This needs to happen. Petition, anyone?

I'm going to write to Pearson today. I'm sure they will appreciate the additional income :) I'm so tired of the PVT crap! Anything to make the threads stop!

The threads won't stop. The title will change to: Pearson rips off poor graduates. Or Pearson won't release my results (until I pay the money I authorized on a Visa gift card with no balance).

Even people who are trained through University programs in different countries can't just come to the U.S. And practice as a nurse. They have to take a couple additional classes and sit for the NCLEX before they can practice. Nursing is definitely hard. However, some countries have different scopes of practice and definitions of a nurse...

I haven't gotten any PMs. Waaahhhh no one loves me!! Your all a bunch of mean bullies!!! Just because I passed Boards on my first try, have actually worked as an RN for 36 years and am an official COB, I get kicked to the curb. I'm telling!!! 😀

You must be nicer than most of us. If I don't get a "Screw you, and your little dog, too!" or have the poor horse I rode in on killed at least once a month, I check to see if my Dad has been Raptured.

(For those not familiar with current Baptist and some other cultural beliefs, this is the big event where all the saintly people get sucked into Heaven right before the world ends.)
