My opinion is that when the mandates are in conflict with the consensus of evidence and expert opinion, it has gone to far. I gave they hypothetical example of requiring multiple masks. I used a hypothetical example, because I have not seen any actual examples.
A vaccine mandate that extends to people with a medical contraindication goes too far.
An employer mandating vaccines with exemptions for medical reasons is not going too far.
A mask mandate that has police breaking into people's homes is going too far.
A mask mandate for people entering inside businesses is not going too far.

Succinctly and well put.

I can just hear the whining now about my answer.
No whining here. I 100% agree. What is the point of a mask mandate/face covering when the product used is pretty much useless. Putting a bandana over your face might make you look like a western movie cowboy but it doesn't do a lot to prevent viral spread.

Is there a point when vaccine/mask mandates can go to far? Can mandates never go too far?
