Per the request of janina08 I've started the April NCLEX takers support group. When do you take it? What are you using to study? Would anyone like to review any of the systems/meds that he/she feels weakest on? Let's keep each other in our prayers and good thoughts as we go through one of the biggest experiences of our lives. :)
rn's draw up the regular insulin before the nph insulin.
i read somewhere here in an another version: it's "nancy reagan rn"
"..draw up insulin using the "nancy reagan rn" method...inject the dosage amount of air into the nph insulin (cloudy) then the dosage amount of air into the regular (clear), then keeping the syringe in the clear, draw up the amount to be given and return to the nph and draw up that amount....hence....nrrn...."

Guys, is there anything that anyone is struggling with the most? I know it's different for all of us, but if we can get a similar census going on who has the most trouble with what, we could all probably help each other much better than one person doing one thing and another waiting for something else. :)I think we need a vote.

Let's VOTE!!
ETA: My vote: Cardiac
CARDIAC, OB and PRIORITIZATION
The votes for systems, strategies, and topics as they stand now are:
Neuro

Cardiac: 4
Endocrine: 1
Renal: 1
Integumentary/Burns
OB: 2
Peds: 1

Musculoskeletal: 2
Immunodeficiency disorders
Priority/Delegation: 2
Anyone else? I'll wait until I get home from work tomorrow (at 3:30pm est) and begin posting things about the system(s) that get the most votes. I see that meds will definitely come a close second, so we'll connect both of them together.

I'm confused. I thought Ca level, per Saunders is 8.6-10. I read on Kaplan and see above that it's 4.5-5. Did I miss something, somewhere?
