the PVT is no more. As of Saturday it's gone. Suggesting people visit your post does no good.

THAT'S STEP 1: I got to the page where it tells me how much I owe ($200). STEP 2: Then I pressed "Next" to enter payment, entered all my credit card information and hit "SUBMIT", which would have took me

to step 3, that's the receipt phase... "STEP 3: After hitting submit to be charged is when you get the good pop up or they'll accept your payment.

So my guess is, after hitting submit and being able to move on to Step 3 and you do get a receipt, than that means you didn't pass (according to this trick).

There's new PVT, but risky thou. I tried it yesterday, they told me if they accept your payment it means you failed if not it means you past.

Except there's already been at least one report of someone who tried that and paid $200, but later found out they passed. That $200 is not refundable.

So I guess if you can afford to flush $200 down the toilet, go ahead.

I read this on the internet, it must be true. My friends all told me it would work, they wouldn't lie to me. It must be true.

I've heard that if you spin around three times and then burn your bra, the pattern of the smoke from burning bra will determine pass or fail. IS THIS FOR REAL?!?

I hope so.....because now my bra is on fire and I still don't know if I passed NCLEX.

I think anyone who DOESN'T find the humor here must have had his Funny Bone surgically removed at birth. Really.

Fact: You can pass or fail with minimum or maximum questions.

Fact: paying $8 for quick results after 48 hours is an accurate pass/fail result

Fact: if you attempt pay $200 to try the trick and the charge goes through there are no refunds if it turns out you passed. This has reportedly happened at least one time.

Fact: neither the new nor the old "trick" have any guaranteed accuracy they are/were exploited glitches in the registration process

Fact: the number of questions or types of questions (SATA, prioritization, etc) have no direct correlation to pass or fail

Fact: once you get the blue screen and your test is over there is NOTHING that you can do to change the outcome of whether you passed or failed. The only way to alter the results of the NCLEX is in your preparation in the years and months leading up to the NCLEX. (Study hard in school, study question rationales, etc)

Don't get discouraged friend, I'm a nurse for home care and my first try I failed at 75. I got back on the saddle and a few months later I passed with a 75. No matter what the results be appreciative that you got your the degree, that's the hard part! You have time and tons of resources to get you ready. Just don't give up and stay on the grind. 3/4 of my class didn't even pass the exit exam and they had to repeat the semester. Stay strong!

Justbeachynurse gave you some great advice!

Yeah it's funny but it's just bad timing. This student is down on the dumps and I think encouragement is the best feedback. But I understand your trying to lighten things up

I hear ya. But this post (and many others like it) are here because students are posting the same questions over and over and over and over again without ONCE READING a SINGLE thread on the identical topic. Several of us DO give very good---if not excellent--information, suggestions, advice, and encouragement, but somehow they still don't notice that. The reason Beachy gave the Factoid post she just did is it gets tiring to read the same things constantly and after awhile, you just do copy/paste for the identical info you JUST GAVE but the next student didn't bother to read.

Or, you post something silly and funny. Which, ironically, they DO read, but then ask (here we go again) the same questions AGAIN.

When they were students, I wonder if they would sit through a lecture, stick up their hand and ask a question that someone quite literally JUST asked, and the teacher responded to? The class laughs at them for not paying attention, yes? So be it.

You just got here. Stick around and see if I'm lying ;)
