is there anyone failed nclex-pn with 85 questions only?

Updated:   Published

I just took my exam yesterday I only got 85 questions:( I tried the Pearson trick and I went to cc:( some says you'll pass if if u only had 85 questions and some says you didn't passed if u tried Pearson trick and the CVS showed up: ( I'm scared: /

Good luck to us all

I took it this Aug 20. I hope we passed.

Not yet I probably have to wait for few weeks, cali doesn't participate in quick results :(

I heard most people answer 85 questions passed. There are only few fail the exam with 85 questions.

From the internet. And a friend of mine who tried it

It was on the internet. It MUST be true.

Where's that 'head banging on wall' icon when I need it?

I know I'm sorry :( did you get a lot of SATA's??

I know I told you this same thing on another thread, but you are still telling people that if they got SATA questions it was a good sign. This is wrong. SATA is a format, but is NOT indicative of passing or failing status; you could have two or twenty, and it means ZERO.

Those questions are rated as below passing standard as well as above. If you answer ten SATA questions but they are not passing level, the person will not pass.

I just took the exam today too and the comp stopped at 85 questions.. Does anyone know if its more toward the passing or failing side? I can't sleep thinking about it :(

If you're a first-time test taker, it's much more likely you passed than failed, statistically, REGARDLESS of the number of questions you got. That said, however, people do fail, and do so with the minimum, maximum, and any number in between.

Either you did quite well and it determined you were competent at 85 questions, or you did quite poorly and no number of questions would allow you to pass.

Hang in there for official results!

I agree but I still think that if you had several SATA, you might have been doing good. Test varies. On my first try, I didn't get much SATA's and failed. 2nd time, I had several and passed. Like I said, it's a 50/50 chance.

Of course you might be doing well if you get SATA, but you could JUST as easily be doing poorly....why perpetuate the myth that getting these types of questions makes it MORE likely you'd pass? You yourself write "50/50" but keep telling people that if they get SATA, they are probably doing well. I think it's giving false hope, and I don't like doing that to people when they're already stressed to the max. But maybe that's just me.

PVT worked for me! I took my NCLEX earlier this Aug 2014 ? the first time I took it, took me to the cc page and found out I failed. The second time, got the good pop and found out I passed last week! Read my post on nclex advice! I hope it helps! ?

the PVT is no more. As of Saturday it's gone. Suggesting people visit your post does no good.

There's new PVT, but risky thou. I tried it yesterday, they told me if they accept your payment it means you failed if not it means you past.
