Any hospital hiring new grads? anywhere in the country?

Published

Does anyone know of any hospital that are currently hiring new grads without any experience? I graduated May '09, and it's so hard finding a job without experience. Thanks.

What is it like in Texas? I graduate in December and can't find a job any where. I currently live in Maine and hate it here. I was wondering if there are a lot of young people in Texas. I dont know anyone there but if you are enjoying yourself then it must be nice.

Thanks

another vouch for FL theres nothing here, good thing i have connections though, but its very hard for those who dont

Small towns and big cities in TX are still hiring new grads. I would prefer the big city but I am stuck in a small town for now.

]Yeah, I keep receiving emails from recruiters in Austin and Corpus Christi, TX, but I prefer not to relocate to another state. I applied to Sharp's New Grad Program but got the "We regret to inform you email". :o I'm waiting for UCSD to respond. I've already began applying to New Grad Programs in Irvine, Fullerton, and Mission Viejo. I hope to get into at least one. It's getting so frustrating and discouraging. I didn't think it was going to be this tough. I've been looking for 8 months now.

Texas is still hiring ~ probably always will be...

So I am on my day off and am watching TV for the first time in weeks and EVERY SINGLE COMMERCIAL Break I see an advertisement for the VA. I popped online to quickly poke around and yes there are so positions for 2-5 years experience but there are also positions that a new grad may qualify for...CHECK THEM OUT!!!

very small military town in the middle of nowhere, but they will consider new grads for med/surg.

My wife got a recruiting card in the mail last week from Baptist Health in Montgomery, AL. I don't know anything about the hospital.

NurseNicoleRN123,

I have an interview with Trinity Mother Frances and it sounds like you really like your experience there so far. I'm from the Midwest as well, so I'm wondering if you would like reply back to me and tell me about your experience so far, and about the Tyler area, etc. It would be nice to get a different perspective. I can give you my phone number if you'd like as well. Hope to hear back from you!
