Has anyone out there heard of know personally about the alli skiny ??

I took Alli for two weeks when it first came out and lost 12 lbs. I ate lean cuisine and smart ones meals, along with the smart ones deserts with every meal (except breakfast). Snacked on low fat snacks b/t meals. Never had any leakages, gas, etc even when I accidently ate a fattening breakfast (I misread the nutritional facts). When I started school last summer, I stopped taking Alli, because I knew I wouldn't be able to control my eating habits as well as I did when I wasn't in school.

By the end of the summer I gained all the weight back, stress eating. I decided to focus on eating healthy, and I've have recently lost 13lbs w/o the pill and have kept it off for the past few weeks. Unfortunately, I'm stuck and am contemplating whether or not to start taking the rest of the pills.

I used alli for a while and yes it does leave a greasy yellow-orange stain in the toilet bowl. Just seeing that has helped to curb my fat intake...that is in my body??? EWWWW!!

Yes this used to be a prescription called Xenical....I don't think it did very well. I went to a lecture on it at a restaurant and it sounded great until they came to the side effects...oily rectal discharge, flatuence, involuntary bowel movements....oh yeah...seemed more like if after you had a couple of "accidents" in your drawers you'd avoid the fatty food that caused it or just throw the meds in the garbage...lol

I tried alli for a little over a month. Things went well for me, and I did manage to lose some weight. I experienced a horrible side effect of what I believe was this medication so I decided to stop taking it. I didn't have accidents like most people do, but my eyelashes began to fall out inexplicably. I have big lashes and the change was very noticable. I thought it was probably due to the decreased absorption, but I have never heard of anyone having similar problems. They grew back after a long time. Fortunately they haven't fallen out since

Greasy leaking stools and lots of gas too!!! How gross!!!! I'm so glad I never tried Alli skinny pill when I use to be fat.

I've known 2 people to try it. Both told me the same thing. At first the "side effects" were small ... but they increased over time. After a couple of weeks, both people stopped taking it.

One told me that her turning point came with a horrible incident in a restaurant that she was too embarrassed to tell me about. I hate to think of the possibilities!

Ever seen this?

I was in retail pharmacy when Xenical came out, and I do not recall ever refilling a prescription. The most shocking side effect I ever heard about was bowel movements consisting entirely of grease!

Before Alli was released, one of the techs asked us what we thought of that drug, and we did not mince our words to tell her what our opinion was.

My mom and I decided to try Alli a few months ago. I experienced very mild "treatment effects", but it hit my mom pretty hard. Not to be gross, but while eating dinner one night, she passed some gas (unable to control it), that turned out to be made up of orange grease, which left a DISGUSTING STAIN on our tan/of white seat cushions. Needless to say, she no longer takes Alli.

I think its Xenical... Ive used it before but stopped it because its disgusting. :chuckle

I tried it for one week, during which time I ate only healthy foods. Then I started to fart uncontrollably at the worst times, like during patient admissions or starting IV's. It was so embarrassing. I decided it's not for me... It was a waste of my 50 bucks.

Actually I had the opposite effects! My abd. got +++ bloated and I was unable to have a BM. I eventually did but I was so bloated and uncomfortable that I decided to stop the med. Anyone have the same experience and have you come up with anything that helped???
