from what i have seen, a lot of us here are parents or in their 30s. so i was quite curious.
for me, i'm 17 gong 18. i'm only 9 months into my nursing course. in singapore, almost majority of the nurses start studying at 17 or 18 years old.
I started Pre-reqs when I was almost 23, nursing school at 24 (almost 25), will graduate with my ASN at 26 and my BSN at 27. I think this is about the median age for my class. We have some very young students 20 and some older ones 40's to 50's. It all works out good. Some of the very young ones are a bit immature , but that is expected I guess. We all basically get along well.
I was 23 when I entered LVN school and 24 when I completed the program.
I still have no RN prerequisite classes completed, which was my reason for entering the LVN program in the first place. Now I am making plans to complete an LVN-to-RN program in the near future, hopefully before I reach 30 years of age.
Went to college out of high school at 18. Took some time off at 20 (partying and traveling with the airline I work for like an idiot) Moved back home at 25 (tired of traveling, partying and working for the airline I work at) got back in school and will graduate with my ADN at 29 this May
