ADN Fall 2011 Hopefuls!!!

I wanted to start a thread for those of you who have or will apply to ADN programs for the Fall 2011 semester. I have started the process but I have completed my application yet. I am nervous and super stressed. Join this thread so we can vent together. Share our journeys into nursing school.

Hi Guys,

I'm new to AN, and came across this thread. I'm in the same boat with all of you... waiting for my acceptance letter! I'm a 32 year old mother of four, so this has been a long ride. I'm SO ready to begin actual NURSING classes! Congrats to all those who have gotten in already and good luck to those still waiting to hear! My school sends out letters around the end of April, so it's getting close! :lol2:

Welcome to the thread. The few of us that are left to hear from our programs are pulling our hair out :eek: But there has been nothing but good news here. I hope that luck continuous with us! I am ready to hear something. Anything. An email, letter, phone call, something....

well i decided at the last minute to apply to a second RN program! This new program is my first choice and I hope I get into it. Applications are accepted until the end of the month and I wont find out until June. I have to go for an interview sometime this month. I have a really good GPA for their pre reqs and as long as I do well on the teas I should have a really good shot. Only downside is the school is an hour away and so are all the clinicals but its a really great school.

Hello everyone!!! I can't believe I'm able to say this... but I got accepted into the program!!! I am sooo happy and so ready for this. Congratulations for everyone who got accepted, we did it guys!!! And to those who are waitlisted or rejected, do not give up hope. One door shuts, another one opens, never give up if this is what you really want.

Again... congratulations, our hard work has finally paid off.

I know this sound silly, but I am so excited to buy my first pair of scrubs and so excited to wear my school's personalized lab coat. You always see the nursing students with their lab coats around campus and now I'll be one of them, amazing. Is anybody else excited for that? Excited for rotations? I sure am!
