A&P1 study group

AP2 is too intense for me to take in Summer. I'm barely keeping up with Anatomy 1 during this Spring semester; can't imagine squeezing it into an 8 week course.

misspink86 - at least you GET a spring break! We go all semester long, ugh... I did get back our first huge lab, 7 page lab report, and got 73/75, so I am VERY pleased. I was freaking out about it because its worth a fair amount. All the rest of the labs are going to be like that - I laid out the rest of the lab reports and one of them the layout is 5 pages, gulp!
morningdew - you CAN do it, your smokin' so far - ace that thing!! Let us know how you did.
I am going to be taking AP2 during the summer semester, is anyone else going to be too?

It will be a 10 week one, so I get a few extra weeks out of it. But I have to take 2 other classes to have all my pre-reqs done by the end of Dec. I'm thinking of taking AP2 along with college algebra and general psych. Luckily, I don't work outside of the house.

Maybe I should just take Human Growth & Dev along with Gen Psych? hmmm.... wish I had more time to spread out the classes.

Well if you're determined to be finished by December then you could take them and drop AP2 if it's clear that you won't get a good grade. I'm only taking one class this summer, probably going to be Human growth and development.

It will be a 10 week one, so I get a few extra weeks out of it. But I have to take 2 other classes to have all my pre-reqs done by the end of Dec. I'm thinking of taking AP2 along with college algebra and general psych. Luckily, I don't work outside of the house.

I'm taking AP2 in the summer as well Sand_Dollar. I don't want to have a 3 month break in between the two courses, I'll forget everything from API lol

I'm trying to take A&P 2 during the summer as well..don't want to take 3 months off either!!

I got a 95 on my exam -- histology and the integumentary system..WHOO-HOO!!!

im taking microbio and ap2 both in the summer... 4 weeks each.... ap2 in the summer is going to be with a REALLY tough lecture and lab teacher....

I'm taking A&P 2 and Micro-organisms & Diseases this summer....4 weeks each. One of the instructors for the A&P 2 lecture/lab is SUPER difficult and speaks in a monotone that will lull a person to sleep. I'm hoping that when it comes time for summer registration, I'll be able to enroll for A&P 2 w/my current A&P 1 instructor. I'll have 8 mind-boggling weeks to contend w/this summer but at least I'll have my last pre-reqs done!

I did this week. Wow. I looked at this as my first real experience as a pre-nurse. If I can't handle a cadaver, then maybe it isn't the career for me. Well... I handled it just fine. I just felt like I was invading her privacy. It's extremely helpful to see what the tissues look like for real.

js408 - How did it go with the cadaver? I'm jealous, that would be so cool. The closest I have is the AP Revealed CD.

I'm really loving this class but my labs are a killer. I got back my first major lab, 7 pages on histology, got 97% so I was thrilled! What are your lab reports like? Please tell me I'm not the only one with labs from h3ll! lol
