Are there any A&P1 study groups out there this semester? And if so when do your classes start? My class start on 1/21!!!

I have my exam next week on Histology and the Integumentary system..and the next class..the practicum on all the tissues! Let's just say I will be doing NOTHING this weekend except for studying..well, a little fun too..but mainly studying!!!

That skull is really cool! I would love one of those but if I bought one my hubby would kill me for that price, lol. Let us know how your test goes. Good luck!

We had our big test last week on planes, sections, body regions/cavities, terminology, histology, and integument system. Our professor teaches two anatomy classes. For the other class, the average and median score was 60% with a standard deviation of 25. For our class, the average score was 78% and median score 81% with a standard deviation of 22. Both classes had a 12 point curve on the exam.

My score with curve- 104% :smokin:

Next test is on skeletal system and articulations

WOW js408 - that's AWESOME!!! Good for you! :yeah: I'm hitting the mid semester slump. I am having such a hard time getting to my assignments, I wasted all day yesterday comparing a couple nursing school, ugh! I think I better go get those meds for ADD, its going to catch up with me if I don't keep up on everything.

I had my 2nd exam..it went pretty well. We are SOO behind..I think we're going to have to have an exam each week to catch up (there is no midterm or final). It was on histology and some of the integumentary system. It was pretty cool..I think I did alright.

My professor also includes extra credit..which is usually some type of medical trivia. He listed a list of organs - stomach, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, heart, liver and maybe two others and asked which one can regenerate itself.

I was psyched because I knew it was the liver! 10 extra points for me!! I can't wait to get my exam back to see how I did.

We were also suppose to have our next practicum..but luckily, I got him to postpone it for a week!

YAY I made 100 on our 1st AP Exam! I studied my butt off for like 2 days and stayed up till 7am, whew :) Now I have my Bone Practical this Thursday along with my Dev Psych test..

Sand Dollar I think I need the meds for ADD as well lol I have 4 test and a quiz this week and havent even studied yet.....at least spring break is next week :) maybe I should try to focus and study now!

I have my midterm today, I have an A so far in the class but this midterm is worth 250 points with a 100 questions.:brnfrt:

misspink86 - at least you GET a spring break! We go all semester long, ugh... I did get back our first huge lab, 7 page lab report, and got 73/75, so I am VERY pleased. I was freaking out about it because its worth a fair amount. All the rest of the labs are going to be like that - I laid out the rest of the lab reports and one of them the layout is 5 pages, gulp!

morningdew - you CAN do it, your smokin' so far - ace that thing!! Let us know how you did.

I am going to be taking AP2 during the summer semester, is anyone else going to be too?
