Hi,
My name is Belinda. I have 10 classes left to wrap up my pre-reqs. I am looking forward to A&P 1. There is nothing at this point, that I am fearing.
This semester will be busy for me.
I am taking: A & P 1, Psy. Human Growth, Spanish 1, Speech, and College Algebra.
I plan on taking Micro, Spanish 2, and Chem. in the summer.
Wishing everyone a successful semester!

And for us we have to register some code thingy and i guess it is for in class quizzes, you know like those shows on tv where the audience has to vote.... "who wants to be a millionaire?" But thats all i know, i will help you out as soon as i find more info.

Ahhh, that makes sense! I guess it's to make the grading process a bit easier for the professor. I honestly thought it was something like a tape recorder type device. I thought, why pay $50+ for a tape recorder?!? I can find one way cheaper than that! Then, I looked online for a clearer answer for it's purpose and just got more confused. You've definitely cleared that up for me, the bookstore staff couldn't even tell me what it's for. Have you already purchased one? My school sells them for $54.00, and from what I saw online, that's a bit overpriced. Wal-Mart needs to expand to collegiate school supplies!
Thanks!

Wow...$54.00 i got mine at school for $36.00 thats really expensive but yours looks a little more fancy than mine...lol...mine just has A,B,C,D...lol....Well if u look through this thread there are some notes from past members, so u could download them and some exam questions too....hope they help and i look forward to sharing our concerns and questions this semester on here....:)
hello friends, so i found this...yay!!....students: to help you pass exams, i have put together most of the tests from those that i gave during my anatomy and physiology teaching career. included are 103 lecture exams, 99 quizzes, 14 lab identification exercises, 7 lab practicals, and 2 anatomy and physiology challenge exams. the tests are found under documents. try as many tests as you like and then check to see the correct answers at the end of each test.
a set of links to be used as tutorials, animations and games has been added. many of the tutorials and animations, and all of the games, are interactive. a sizeable set of links to practice tests is already on the internet. i think it's nice that learning such a difficult topic can actually be "fun". these links can be found on the left side of this page, starting with basic chemistry.
this was on: http://anatomytests.multiply.com/
you have to register here though and it is free...i hope we get as much help as possible...the semester is almost here...there is this whole process of getting the notes and what not...i will try to see if i can get them or else you can go to www.divshare.com and the log in using [email protected] and password: elbow....then get the files...okie goodluck...
ive literally printed out almost 80% of the downloads from your site.. at work>. lol and im glad i did.. at work it was about 500 pages .. thanks again for the links.. ill be refering to the worksheets along with the site .. =) on average one download being printed id say is about 25 pages..
hi everyone!
My name is Chari
I'm taking A & P this spring, along with speech and chemistry. Full brain capacity!
I am excited and terrified at the same time....so much to learn! I cannot wait! I have paged through my books already and I am so ready to start class!
I plan on taking A & P II this summer along with nutrition, and then applying in August for the spring 2011 nursing program.
random about me:....a surprise diagnosis of melanoma last year really put my life into perspective, and after being a sahm for 18 years, I have ended up here!
good luck to us all!
a. how many credits you are taking next semester? 14: nas 161 (a&p i), developmental psych, sociology, and english comp.
b. what part of a&p 1 you are looking forward to, are you nervous? i'm pretty much terrified of the course. i haven't had a science class in 15 years, and i'm really frightened looking over the textbook. however, i feel that if i can take spanish, french, and german, i can learn body systems too! i'm most worried about the memorization.

c. how long you have to apply? i still have to take a&p ii over the summer, so i think i will be applying for spring 2011 unless they'll let me apply before i finish a&p.

d. some random thing about you? i lived in alaska from 2007-2008!
Hi, I'm Sara and I'm actually taking A & P 2 starting this Monday. It has been 10 years since I took A & P 1 so I am a little nervous about the elapsed time between the two. I've heard 2 is easier than 1 but I don't know that for sure. At my school it is 4 credit hours and that is all I am taking since I have all my other courses and will only need the actual nursing courses. I have already applied and if accepted, I will begin this August.
Bummer, we won't be using cadavers at my school although I think that would be awesome. I do have Martini's Atlas and it uses real pics. I guess that's as close as I am going to get...
To Jeff, from what I understand, if you go to an unaccredited school, you can't sit for the boards or get a nursing license.

I'm already an LPN so hopefully after taking A & P 2 in the Summer, I can score high enough on that darn NET to get into the program. Something random about me....hmmmm.....my dgtr and I will both be applying for financial aid for Sept. LOL
