  1. a. how many credits you are taking next semester? 14: nas 161 (a&p i), developmental psych, sociology, and english comp. b. what part of a&p 1 you are looking forward to, are you nervous? i'm pretty much terrified of the course. i haven't had a science class in 15 years, and i'm really frightened looking over the textbook. however, i feel that if i can take spanish, french, and german, i can learn body systems too! i'm most worried about the memorization. [color=#708090] c. how long you have to apply? i still have to take a&p ii over the summer, so i think i will be applying for spring 2011 unless they'll let me apply before i finish a&p. [color=#708090] d. some random thing about you? i lived in alaska from 2007-2008!
  2. The only test my school requires is the Kaplan, so I didn't take TEAS. I actually didn't prepare much for the test--which probably wasn't a good idea--but I had just taken a math and English reading/writing placement test, so I felt comfortable taking the Kaplan based on my placement scores. I would definitely recommend a study guide to help prepare for the reading comprehension questions. I did terribly on the science section. If I had it to do over again, I would wait until I'd completed at least A&P I. Good luck!!!!!!!
  3. I just took it a couple of hours ago! I did really well on it, which surprised me, since I had no idea about most of the science stuff (haven't had NAS yet). The math portion is fairly basic; the English portion is difficult; and the science portion is probably easy for those who have had some recent bio/chem/A&P.
  4. Has anyone taken NAS 161/162 at the same time, particularly at J. Sargeant Reynolds? I'm trying to save a semester, but I also don't want to risk getting B's in both classes instead of A's one at a time. Thanks!
