So, i am guessing we've all registered for our classes for next semester...i wanted to start a thread where everyone taking the course can come together to ask questions they need help with or just vent or LOL....watever the case may be...so if you are taking A&P 1 in the spring...introduce your self...

1st time posting (newbie) so bear with me.. :icon_roll
a. how many credits you are taking next semester? 7-a&p and sociology
b. what part of a&p 1 you are looking forward to, are you nervous? honestly i'm nervous about a few things. got a "d" in a&p years ago when i 1st took it because i didn't apply myself (never studied and never asked for help), so i hope i can do well this time around. i heard mixed reviews about the professor i'm taking the course with-some say she's too easy and you won't learn what you need to do well in a&p 2 whereas others think she's fantastic. i'm looking forward to learning as much as i can because i'm enjoying college the 2nd time around!
c. how long you have to apply? i anticipate completeing my pre-reqs in time to apply for the fall 2011 semester nursing program (hopefully)
d. some random thing about you? brief intro- 4 year university drop-out (had no major, racked up 83 now worthless credits) starting from scratch at a 2 yr community coll. after a hiatus (out working in the real world)-fall 09 was my 1st semster back.
Hello, I'm Cassie (not the most original username)
a. I am taking only A&P 1 and Nutrition this semester. Nice and light while I work full-time - got to keep those grades up first and foremost!
b. At the moment, I'm looking forward to all of A&P. In high school I was jealous of my out-of-state friends who had A&P offered at their school. I got ole Biology.
c. Hopefully I will be starting nursing school in Spring '11. I am already registered for entrance exams.
d. Random thing: my dog rules my life! I see myself staying late at work to study in peace without having toes licked and toys dropped in my lap every 5 seconds. :chair:

im taking General Anatomy Microbiology with taxology and Speech.. next semester Physiology.. and boom applying. so thanks again.. these next classes make or break me.. so ty again for the sites =0
How was your first day of classes and what are the other classes you're taking? I can not image two labs in one semester - you go girl! My classes don't start until the end of this month; although a little nervous, I can't wait to start.
b. I'm not nervous... I'm just looking forward to learning about our bodies
c. Hopefully I can apply for Fall '10, but it depends on whether I can get the classes I need for summer... and If I can afford it since fin. aid doesn't apply and our summer credits are so pricey.
d. I've always wanted to be a nurse... but for the past 10 years that I've been out of high school, I've done nothing about it. I'm a Realtor, I have a business background... I'm a SAHM to a 10yr old, 5yr old, and an 11mo. old... and I'm finally on my path to becoming a nurse.
i am taking a&p this spring semester 2010...Taking a total of 6 hours..im also taking walking for fitness..needed 2 extra hours..i am nervous about the amount of material we have to learn in such a short period of time!!! I wish I had some friends in my local program..that is going to be my goal this semester..make friends!!!I already have a BS in Mgmt...work full time with a 13yo daughter....trying to make a career change!!! I have already taken everythng except a&p 1&2 MICRO, &CHEMISTRY....WISH ME LUCK!!!!! apply to nursing school fall 2011!!!

b. What part of A&P 1 you are looking forward to, are you nervous?: Not really nervous but i know i'll actually have to study.I'm excited for dissecting.I took A&P in high school and i loved dissecting the cats!!!
c. How long you have to apply?:umm i think im applying in fall 2010 or spring 2011...not sure yet
d. Some random thing about you?:My dogs are my life.And I'm considering nursing or pre-vet.
