hey whats up guys my name is Terry im 24.. this is my second semester in CC.. im taking Anatomy micro and speech.. ill take Phys in summer.. never heard of A&P1 and A&P2 its just bio 201 and bio 202 lol.. but im looking forward to taking these courses... ill be applying i guess in fall 2010 i think.. well the one after summer lol my teachers are extremely hard.. but again i heard its just hard period.. im sacraficing pay at the hospital for 4month investment in hopes ill be almost done the min prereqs here at antelope valley college in southern calif the waiting list is 3semester... so im guessing ill have plenty of time
Nice to meet you..... A&P 1 and A&P2 are much more difficult than bio 201 and 202, if we have the same numbers in our school...
Hi guys! My name's Liz and I'm either pre-nursing or pre-vetmed. Haven't decided yet - odd choices, right? I'm taking 20 credits - three of them lab sciences. I'm really, really nervous about A&P next quarter...ugh. I hopefully (if I do apply) will apply this fall (October-January). Hm...I had open-heart surgery as a baby and am really really interested in the cardiovascular system, and if I go into nursing I'd like to be a CVICU peds nurse.
no bio 201 is general human anantomy bio 202 is general human physiology bio 204 is microbiology.. im guessing its equivalent to ur 237 i didnt see molecular cell biology. although we have organic chemistry which i took last semester its chem 101.. at antelope valley college our requirments are bio 101 chem 101 bio 202,202,204 .. but we cant take phys without finishing anatomy first .. guess its just different numbering systems. at av math 070 is like equivalent to math 90 at coc... but nice to meet you all i look forward to taking these classes and stressing with all you guys...
out of curiosity what books are your a and p mine is mckinley has like a black girl on the front but the book cover is like baby blue

thats lame yea your book is different... at our school each book is like 195.00 i was fortunate to get my micro and anatomy book for 95 a peice.. and they are new.. =0 whew.. amazon is the best place for new books dont open yours up and maybe u can return it and save yourself like 100 bucks..

The A&P teachers explicitly say don't use Amazon. I LOVE AMAZON and save a to n on other books for classes but stupid a&p won't let me save like 200 dollars oh well at least I can use this book for a&p 2 luckily and dont have to shell out another 300 for a science book!!!

YEAHH! I'm glad other schools use this book too. I was starting to wonder if my school was a bit different b/c they ONLY use Cengage publisher books (which I may note are quite expensive hahaha)

Wow....The book i am using is by my proffesor, but it is a package deal sorta. We have the text book...an atlas, a pearson online acces thingy, and a student access kit....
im still confused between anp1/2 and just regular anatomy which is a semester and physiology which is a semester.. is ur guys just like a anp combined.. and you use the same book cuz that would make sense
I guess instead of seperate anatomy and then physiology courses, my school just takes a part of anatomy and a part of phsy and makes ap1 and then the rest ap2.....i suppose in the end we are still getting the same material, just differently...
