I'm taking only 2 classes this spring, A&P being one of them. I just got done with mirco and was pleased with my grade so I'm really looking forward to A&P. I have a feeling I'm gonna love it cos I'm fascinated with the way the body functions. Nevertheless, I'm glad this thread got made cos I'm sure I'll have some questions once the semester starts.

Hi Everybody! My name is Kena Rae. I'm taking A&P 1 in the Spring 2010 semester too with a total course load of 13 credits that includes: a history core, Western Civilization and the Modern World; a fine arts core, Humanities through the Arts; and my last developmental math course, Intermediate Algebra. I should complete my remaining prerequisites (A&P 2, Chemistry 101, Statistics and Lifespan and Human Development) this summer and fall and looking to start clinicals in the Summer of 2011. I am excited about taking A&P 1 because to me it is the first course of my academic journey that I finally feel like I'm on my way to becoming a nurse; I can see the finish line. One random thing about me is that I don't have a life outside of school. The fall semester is over and all I've been doing is strategizing about next semester. I am a dork! A&P will be a challenge, but we can get through it. I look forward to our discussions. K

Krae5000......Yay i'm just like you...already strategizing for next semester...planning and the likes....school is pretty much my life....glad we are on the same boat and i look forward to getting through this semester with you and everyone else...Together :)

Thanks for saying that Rimzy! I drive myself mad trying to get the right professor and the best times to increase my chances of success. I don't care what anybody says, I have to have the right professor, especially for math. I go for the professor and then build my schedule around them. So far it seems to work for me. Last semester, one of my professors let me skip taking the final; boy did I need that mental break. My grade was already an "A" anyway, but this professor was just "real cool". Never any BS. You sound pretty focused just like me, but if you need my help, just holla :)

Hey guys are we getting ready for A&P...i am beyond excited, i got my books and i am freaking out in a good way, the lab manual has all these memorizations to do ....omg.....we can make it though....looking forward to this class

Let me just, I have the books too (thank god) and I am freakin thinkin I need to start memorizing now! This stuff is like a whole new language.

Oh, It definitely is a whole new language. I just keep telling myself I'm learning Latin. :) Because I am!

Hi my name is BB. I plan on taking AP1 and 2 as accelarated classes one at a time. I will also be taking Intro to Soci. I want to take Micro would that be too much since I will have one AP class at a time? So if I pick up the Micro that will put me at 15 credit hours for the Spring and plan on taking my Statistics in the Summer to apply for the July 31 deadline. Will be looking at Fall 2010 or Spring 2011. Help would anyone suggest the both at the same time.:argue: Just want to get through with pre-reqs.

Hi BB, as long as you are willing to put the time into it....it can be done.....although since you are looking to apply in the spring...you could also take it one semester at a time....but it can be done...Good luck

Thanks for the response. I will be taking in one at time my adviser don't suggest me taking a load like that.:imbar
