I am in the Nursing program at PHCC. They look at Prerequisite GPA and TEAS score along with county of residency only, it is based on everyone else that is applying at the same time so there isn't a set minimum GPA or TEAS. (you can find previous post re this program on this site as well) I would also suggest that you take the program corequisties ahead of time as the program is stressful enough without extra courses. Especially take Microbiology as soon as you can. Critical thinking is important in Nursing School but they don't test you on that ahead of time.

I like Vicks I learned that trick last week in clinical . I actually have to pick up some tonight. I am also gonna grab a thing of the Altoids Smalls so they'll fit easily in my uniform top.

BTW has anyone heard anything in regards to the Direct Loans?

I feel your pain I wanted to do my reading however I have so much to do at home that I'm distracted. I may have to start reading ahead.

Has anyone had any luck with registering their clicker yet? I tried again tonight at home and got the same dang error message.

Evansmum I'm tired as well all of the excitement has worn us out. Oh well I have A&P II tonight at 5:30 so until then I'm just trying to get my mommy duties done in the house while the kids are at school. I hate this sound of silence it's weird being here without them .

Can anyone who has the course manual please tell me what the first reading assignments are?

West Campus again no Course Manual I asked again when might be in I was told went to the printer today the earliest would be Tuesday....They Bookstore guy said "maybe you can go to the Nursing Dept and ask if you can make a copy of it" Nice because that's gonna happen. Yaz WIA did put money on my account for Tuition so after the wait in Financial Aid it was less than a min before she switched my tuition to come out of my WIA instead of Pell. The case worker I met with says w. the sponsorship it goes WIA, Hospital then Pell. However if you are Getting only WIA with no sponsorship it goes Pell then WIA. FYI I really wish I could help MJ.

I was told that thru the RMCBP Sponsorship that WIA paid for tuition, books and supplies and the PELL could be kept. I'll let you know as soon as I get back from WC tomorrow. I get out of work at 11AM (should be to campus by noon if the peeps at work don't throw me a party....not holding my breat everyone is broke).

I guessed.....It makes my chest look huge but slims me at the same time. I will keep you advised. I thought I saw that we needed the course manual the first day as we were going to be reviewing it. If I find any mor info I'll share.

FYI West Campus is out of Dosage Calculation Access and Course Manuals......and no clue when they will be back in. WHAT First class is on Tuesday and they don't know when they will be in. I was lucky and got my funds today now I just need to find out how to change my tuition from my Pell to the WIA. I guess I know what I'm doing after work tomorrow back to West Campus. I actually like my uniform I must be sick I also love my new lab coats. So sexy
