Is anyone here takining A&P II this spring besides me? I was wondering, what have you all heard about the difficulty of this class? Do you hear that it is harder than I, easier, or about the same? I loved A&P I, but some of it was really tough for me (sliding filament theory, nerves, etc.). I did end up with an A, because I studied my butt off, but I'm hoping to be in the nursing program this spring, and I know that's going to keep me really busy as it is.
It helps me knowing that the professor for this class is pretty cute! :chuckle
I am so glad to see this thread up and running. The one last semester for A&P I was so helpful. I just started my A&P II class yesterday. I have a whole new professor and have to adjust my learning for this class. We are starting with the Nervous System, we did endocrine last semester. Best of Luck to everyone.
I'm taking A&P II this semester as well. I got a C in A&P. But I've really where I fell short at then and am planning to work much harder in A&P II to get an A. I'm going to apply for Nursing school for Fall 2009. If anyone can offer great tips on how to get through A&P II greatly please share.
So far so good. Met our new instructor last Thursday in lab (lecture was cancelled due to bad weather last week). This is her first semester teaching and she is VERY young. She seems nice and baiscally indicated she will be lecturing straight from the book which is nice, since I like our text a lot (the Marieb text) Only negative so far was that lecture was cancelled last week and we were basically on our own for blood.
I got my test results from our first quiz yesterday. I got a 95. Tomorrow, is our second quiz on the Endocrine system and next Thursday is our exam that covers Endocrine, Special Senses and the Blood.
Our teachers lectures out of his head. It is a lot of material but if you take good notes and study hard, the class shouldn't be that hard.

I hope A&P2 is easier than I. I made sure I had the best teacher at my school when I signed up for the class this semester. I have a lot more time to study than when I was taking 1. I hope to get an a with hard work and studying. Good Luck to you all!
