Is anyone here takining A&P II this spring besides me? I was wondering, what have you all heard about the difficulty of this class? Do you hear that it is harder than I, easier, or about the same? I loved A&P I, but some of it was really tough for me (sliding filament theory, nerves, etc.). I did end up with an A, because I studied my butt off, but I'm hoping to be in the nursing program this spring, and I know that's going to keep me really busy as it is.
It helps me knowing that the professor for this class is pretty cute! :chuckle
Taking APII and Micro also.
I agree with several who have said that having different profs for lecture and lab
is really not a good thing. My Lecture prof gave so many unnecessary details, made us recite as many as 7 'stories' and then 'reviewed' over tests from 1998!!
AFA my lab prof, she said, repeatedly, "this is a self-taught' lab; I don't know what to tell you guys."
I kid you not!
Thanks for starting this group:)
I'm doing A&P 2 this spring, classes start in just under 2 weeks. Im getting excited! This break is starting to wear on me LOL! I did really well in A&P1, got a high A and found it absolutely FASCINATING. Only downside is we were supposed to have our same teacher this semester as last semester, but she had to have surgery right after the new year and wont be recovered enough in time for the new semester to start. Apparantly the department head is going to be teaching it and I have heard horror stories. We'll see. And I agree, endocrine is ROUGH. That was our last topic before we broke for the semester. We'll start back up with blood and cardio.
I am starting in two weeks too. We start with the circulatory system. The guy seems a little all over the place. does not use the book, but instead uses his own ppt. According to ratemyprofessor he has a bad rep. But then again, so did the last teacher and I actually liked her and did well. So we shall see.

I can't wait to be done with pre-reqs! One more after this and I am done until I start a program:):yeah:
:yeah:
I don't know if anyone has posted this before but I came across this link:

The instructor has notes from every chapter in the A&P book by Tortora (I don't know which edition). You may have to refresh a page if you get an error message. HTH.
