In the current era of hypocrisy,  other politicians behavior is always relevant.  

He wasn't convicted of "paying for her silence". 

Yes, it didn't matter to those that elected him.

But also yes, I can say it matters because honesty and integrity in a President is important to me.  I understand that it's hard to find in a politician and Trump isn't the first one that has lied.  But it matters.

About "matter" being subjective, obviously what matters to me doesn't matter to someone else whose had other life experiences,  Duh  

We'll disagree that it's relevant to go off topic and talk about other politicians when we are talking about Trump.  I think sometimes people just try to make themselves feel better with a "hypocrite, your side does it too, yet you complain when Trump does it......." and gloss over what's being discussed. 

I never said he was convicted for "paying for her silence".  Cohen took the fall for that one.

Canada's Prime Minister said the warm relationship with the US is over.

Europe unsure of the US's commitment is moving to beef up military spending.  Something the US wanted, but now are upset they are talking of cutting back on buying American-made arms.  

Seems like with the America First agenda we might be understanding of Europe wanting to buy locally.  The Reuters article has a paywall so I'm posting this one.

Looks like Trump was inclusive in his tariffs. Trump put tariffs on uninhabited islands but not on Russia.

I guess our conservative friends and family want this.  At some point they might decide that some of this lunacy is not a good idea.  We shouldn't hold our breath.  If 1930s Germany is any measure, it will take quite a bit of reality to wake the most devoted supporters up to the truth.

Whirlpool to lay off one third of its workers in Amana
