Is there Math involved in AP I or II?

I was just wondering. I have just recovered from this semester of double-math classes, and wondering if I am going to get a break from it this summer.

sometimes they make you calculate magnification or levels of things but that's about it...you'll get a much needed break

I just finished A&P I and II for the second time (the first was twelve years ago) and we never had to calculate magnification of anything. Maybe it's just different with different schools. Though actually, I took it at two different schools.

I didn't have any math in A&P...

Nope, no math in A&P for me, either. Thank God.

nope i didn't have any math to do in a&p1 thank god.

Specializes in Acute Care Psych, DNP Student.

The only math I remember in A&P was calculating MAP. So...it's 99.99% math free.

I was surprised that I had to calculate logarithm w/microbial growth in microbiology.

Ok, I was sort of worried about it because I have heard where alot of schools want you to take Chemistry as an AP pre-req, so then I started thinking, "Oh jeez, please tell me it's not going to be like Chem".

I'm still traumatized from my Chem ordeal :)

Thanks everyone! I feel so much better!

if it did i never would have made it out alive..nope no math

Chemistry would definitly help, but I made it through with A's in both without any chemistry. You can do it.

we had to calculate magnification the first semester 101, but I hardly call that math. We also had to do some conversions we had a whole lab on going from metrics to english and back again but again if you just had two semesters of math it will be a cake walk.
