    hey well atleast you will be familar with it in the end.

    I am 90% sure we are starting with the nervous system but if I am wrong I know we will eventually be getting to it anyway.

    My Physiology class starts tomorrow. It was supposed to start last Wed. but it was canceled due to the ice storm. My school separates A&P... kinda strange, I guess.

    Wow, some of you still haven't started? Our semester started 1/8 and I already had my first A&P II exam this morning. We have 5 throughout the semester. This was on CNS and PNS, the next is ANS and endocrine, in 3 weeks. We take ours in the computer lab so they're instantly graded - I aced both! Someone else said they're from Tampa - I'm not from here, but go to USF now. Must go start the English homework I neglected all weekend now...

    Finally I start AP2 today! Its a Friday/Saturday class so its the last class to start. I am looking forward to seeing all my old friends from AP1 it should be a great class.

    I just found out though that our Final from ap1 is given again next week we have to take it as a "refresher" its worth 50pts. I am sure it will be fine once I look it over but i don't think I even saved it. Its basicly 200 vocab words from the whole semester but they give it in 15 question increments all term long as a quiz then its 100 questions out of that on the final so you really do remember them this will be my 3rd time studying them so hopefully it will just all come back to me.

    I'm on board of the A&P 2 club! So far we just finished the Endocrine System. It wasnt so bad.. I just have to keep working on memorizing the hormones from place of origin to site. Anyone have any good Mnemonics or memory aids for this system? Good luck to everyone!

    I started 01/16/07, already into our 3rd chapter and first exam is 02/05. Right now looking up questions for all 3 to be reviewed. Our instructors notes for each chapter are approx 4 pages typed. Then the study questions are approx 2-3 typed pages, each question actually has approx 5 subquestions. So by the time you answer each question you are looking at 6-10 handwritten pages. Uhhhhh....and I still gotta read my Human growth chap's 2 &3.

    Awesome! Our first test is 02/05... I'm a little nervous about first tests usually. Every professor is so different. But, hopefully it'll go ok. We don't have test study guides, or use the book. It's all just his notes. ALL his notes. :uhoh21:

    For those of you doing the heart.....how are you learning your right and left AV valves? Are you calling them Right AV valve, and Left AV valve respectively or tricuspid, bicuspid or are any of you using mitrovalve? What will be using in the hospitals?
  13. by   sillinursin
    Once you learn the names, you pretty much know where their located;

    Tricuspid/ right AV Valve
    Mitral/ left AV Valve

    I learned this in A&P 1... try to visualize the picture of the heart and the valves.
