Hello everyone,
I thought I'd go ahead and start a thread for A&P II. Does anyone know if there's a process to request a thread being made sticky?
Has anyone been getting a jump start on class by reading ahead? I found my Prof's powerpoint notes online, so I'm making some flash cards as well :)
Peace,
Cathie
At my school, it is highly recommended that students take A&P I prior to taking A&P II. However, it is not a mandated prerequisite.I won't call you crazy but it does sound interesting, is it set up to take it together? or are you just choosing to do it that way? We are not allowed to do that at my school 1 is a pre req for 2.
You can count me in! I'm taking APII right now. I got a bit of a head start reading the chapter (Endocrine). My class is on Saturday afternoon (Yesterday). I was so glad I started reading it, as I felt very prepared. :)
I read ahead too with the Endocrine...guess what? We started on Blood and my prof has left endocrine for the end LOL.

hey well atleast you will be familar with it in the end.
I am 90% sure we are starting with the nervous system but if I am wrong I know we will eventually be getting to it anyway.
Wow, some of you still haven't started? Our semester started 1/8 and I already had my first A&P II exam this morning. We have 5 throughout the semester. This was on CNS and PNS, the next is ANS and endocrine, in 3 weeks. We take ours in the computer lab so they're instantly graded - I aced both! Someone else said they're from Tampa - I'm not from here, but go to USF now. Must go start the English homework I neglected all weekend now...

I haven't started yet, I start AP2 on Friday 1/26 this is our first week of school I do start micro today and I am nervous ....
Finally I start AP2 today! Its a Friday/Saturday class so its the last class to start. I am looking forward to seeing all my old friends from AP1 it should be a great class.
I just found out though that our Final from ap1 is given again next week we have to take it as a "refresher" its worth 50pts. I am sure it will be fine once I look it over but i don't think I even saved it. Its basicly 200 vocab words from the whole semester but they give it in 15 question increments all term long as a quiz then its 100 questions out of that on the final so you really do remember them this will be my 3rd time studying them so hopefully it will just all come back to me.
well i have been in class for about 3 weeks now we are working on the heart and blood vessles. i am really really enjoying this class we have been working on the cadaver and i love it. we have not had a exam yet, our first exam on chaptes 17-19 on cardiovasular unit and blood. this is my first time in the class. has anyone taken this class more than once. (part ii). hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, full of studying  i have to burn the midnight oil:redlight:
I started 01/16/07, already into our 3rd chapter and first exam is 02/05. Right now looking up questions for all 3 to be reviewed. Our instructors notes for each chapter are approx 4 pages typed. Then the study questions are approx 2-3 typed pages, each question actually has approx 5 subquestions. So by the time you answer each question you are looking at 6-10 handwritten pages. Uhhhhh....and I still gotta read my Human growth chap's 2 &3.
