Hello everyone,
I thought I'd go ahead and start a thread for A&P II. Does anyone know if there's a process to request a thread being made sticky?
Has anyone been getting a jump start on class by reading ahead? I found my Prof's powerpoint notes online, so I'm making some flash cards as well :)
Peace,
Cathie

It says something on the bottom about contacting one of the moderators to get it to be a sticky. I am on board for the AP2 2007 board!!!!
I just PM'd a moderator. Thanks :)

Yay! Count me in! My first day of A&P II lab we have a quiz on the ANS! Isn't that insane? We left off at the endocrine system so thats where we'll be starting in lecture. I can't stop obsessing about getting back into class. Sometimes I feel like the winter break is too long...I have been going over notes everyday since class was out!
Dang! A first day quiz, that's just wrong!!!! Sounds like you'll be prepared though.
We finished off with the ANS and will be starting with the CNS then the PNS. I know what you mean about Winter break being long, but I needed it. It's given me a chance to catch up on my sleep :)
I also like the long break because I'll be taking Math 111 this term as well and it's been a year since I took Mth 95....and as I've been reviewing, it seems I've forgotten everything I knew about solving systems of equations:angryfire
So, I've been spending a lot of time relearning old skills. Between that, reading my A&P chapters and making flash cards from the powerpoint slides, I've been pretty busy :)

Joining up also. Taking a different instructor this semester, the A&P I teacher was very intelligent & lots of medical experience but did not have teaching among her talents - most of the class dropped out or failed. I only got an A by studying constantly and lots of stress. The A&P II teacher has a better reputation as a teacher.

We ended on the CNS, PNS, and ANS. We pick up on the Endocrine system, my friend says its her favorite.

We ended up at the same place. My last test was over the CNS, PNS, and ANS. It was a doozy! I've read a little for next semester...but not alot. Not feeling it. =)

I have started reading...although I am not sure if I am reading ahead at this point. I waited too late to sign up for the Saturday A&P 2 class so I am in a M/W night class.
I hate that since I had become friends with so many of my classmates from the Saturday class last semester...my bad for waiting so late...money was tight early in the month.
At one point last semester our teacher has said we would go through chapter 15 and we only got to chapter 12 (CNS and PNS).
I am trying to read ahead and hoping that the M/W class will be at roughly the same place. I am actually excited to get back to class. I am also taking Developmental Psychology this semester as an internet course.

I'm in. I'm taking Anatomy, which covers A&P I & II for the nursing school that I am applying to. We start next week! I just ordered my close to $300 worth of books. Ugh.
