Hello everyone,
I thought I'd go ahead and start a thread for A&P II. Does anyone know if there's a process to request a thread being made sticky?
Has anyone been getting a jump start on class by reading ahead? I found my Prof's powerpoint notes online, so I'm making some flash cards as well :)
Peace,
Cathie

I haven't started yet but I will be I know we start with the nervous system when we get back so I will be reading and making notes on atleast that chapter. I don't start back until 1/26 for that class I start the 23 for micro but my ap is on fri/sat.
I start AP II this up coming semester, and I am really excited. My last semester I took AP I with a teacher that was really difficult. She handed us lecture notes, breifly went over them and we were tested on it. So this semester I got a really good teacher and I cant wait to start. And I think we are going to start off with the nervous system as well.
Count me in for this semester!! :)
count me in! i cannot wait to go back to school because i'm sooo bored. i just want to get this semester over. my teacher is beyond awesome...he's down-to-earth and he really knows his stuff. his class is a challenge, but i love him. we will be starting with the endocrine system. last semester i got a b, so i have made a promise to myself to put more studying time in so that i will get an a. i'm also taking medical math and lifespan development. hopefully this semester won't be as stressful as the last. good luck everyone!
Count me in too! I will also have a different teacher this semester. Although I recieved an A in my last class, this new teacher (whose class quickly filled up last semester) is highly recommended for the nursing program. I am a student at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Mi. I plan to start the nursing program in the fall of 07.
I have A&PII this semester. Don't hold this against me, but I barely made it through A&PI (Needed an 80, got an 80). Working 40 - 50 a week with three kiddos in three different sports really taxed me. But I made it. Our instructor is strict but very fair. He gives us everything we needed to know up front. Needless to say, I was not surprised on any test or practical I took. Looking forward to diving in on the 22nd.
Remember; Sleep is over rated.

Hold it against you??? You got the grade you needed to get.....we all do what we need to do and it's all a big balancing act :)

Cathie,
I just said that because I have heard some pretty ridiculous comments from students, like, “I don’t want anyone working on me that got below a 90 in this class.” :icon_roll Hehe.
With my 80 in A&P I, I can name all the bones, muscles (ones we were required to learn – 95 of them) and look at a tissue slide and tell you where it came from and the type of tissue it is. I am not worried about it. :wink2:
