  1. If the pulse is not strong enough to palpate then it's not strong enough to oxygenate. Continuing CPR was absolutely the right thing to do.

  11. I am a nursing student currently doing my first clinical roatation in a LTC facility. One of my major concerns is hurting a patient. Can any of you that specialize give me solid tips/pointers on safely 'handling' the patient. I am very concerned about their fragile skin breaking...I would appreciate any help!

  13. I would have been all over that! I felt let down my first clinical becuase my patient didn't have a cath. or anything, and other students had the opportunity to o cath care and colostomy care...My husband tells me I am just a sick geek...
  14. If you do not have your shot-record you could have titers drawn which is about $100 in my area. Good luck!
