my a&p begins on friday the 6. i'm a nervous wreck and the book i'll be using is by martini. i'm really determined to do well in this class but my "evil twin" keeps trying to put doubt in my mind.

LOL. So that is what that little voice of doubt is. I am feeling it too. I guess I have that evil twin also.:sniff:

I used Martini in A&P last fall. Try to utilize their online tutorial website which has excellent practice tests. The CD's that come with the book are also very helpful. I also purchased the accompanying study guide which was of tremendous help to me. Good luck!

You are set up for success and will do great especially if your teacher sticks to the material in the book. Unfortunately it was a problem with my teacher and he had material from mystery resources  but I still made an A. Study hard and furious :wink2:

HI :) I posted originally in A&P II because I hadn't scrolled down first to see this thread. Without repeating too much of what I stated on the other thread, I too am taking A&P I this winter/spring. I feel very encouraged with having found this web site and this thread. Will be looking thru the web sites soon. I can use all the help available! Is anyone attend IPFW??

:p :uhoh21: Well I start A&P I tomorrow night and I'm excited and a bit nervous. We are using Marieb's 6th edition textbook and Marieb's 7th edition lab book. I also bought Anatomy and Physiology Cliffnotes book, and Survival Guide For Anatomy And Physiology: Tios, Techniques And Shortcuts" by Kevin T. Patton, Anatomy Coloring book from Kaplan, and Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary. I hope these things help me. After looking through my books, and starting to read the first few chapters, I didn't realize that there was soooooooooo much stuff to learn. Wish me LUCK and pray because i'm going to need ALL i can get. I'll be back here after class.
