I started last week, on Wednesday the 4th. My prof. is nice but she is Russian, therefore EXTREMELY hard to understand, but she promises within 2 weeks we'll all understand her no problem! We'll see...lol. I do like her and I like the way she says things like... Know this, highlight it, circle it, it will be on the test! Love that. She pronounces things very funny sometimes for instance today every time she said the word galactose, it came out as garlic-toast. It was all I could do not to laugh.

I wish mine would tell us what's on the test.
Just had my first class in A & P this morning. Perhaps it was the sinus infection I'm still fighting or the fact that this was the first morning I got up early in several weeks, but I just felt like I was in a fog. And we are starting off with Origins, Insertions, and Actions. Dear Lord help me!
I think I need a little skeleton of my own or an online virtual one. I don't see how I'm going to learn this stuff if I only get a few hours a week in the lab to actually handle one.
I also had my first class this morning. Nothing scary yet, lol. My instructor seems like she is going to be very nice, great personality as far as I can tell.
We will have 4 test that will make up 1/3 of our grade, Lab will be 1/3 of our grade, and our final exam will be 1/3 of our grade. Our lowest test grade gets dropped, and we will have the chance to earn some extra credit points by donating blood, being an organ donor etc... heck they don't want essays any more, they want our organs:p :rotfl: I have my first lecture AND lab on Wednesday.
From what I understand I have the toughest instructor at my college, I hear that she really makes you learn everything and then some. I suppose thats a good thing though. I will have the foundation that I need for nursing. I plan to get an A in this class!

Well, we wont be missing our organs if we are dead. I think I could handle that, and I think I would even give blood to get a good grade. I know I want this pretty bad if I will give blood. I have always dodged that. :chuckle I hope I dont sound like a bad person, I just hate to be stuck.

My class is the same grading scale except no extra credits points. My toughest day is Friday because I have a 3 hour lab from 8-11, 12-1 communications(boring instuctor), 1-2 anatomy lecture.
