In FL & GA most RNs now wear royal blue. Is that the case everywhere?

I can wear what I want. However, a friend of mine is a nurse at a neighboring hospital is required to wear navy. Before I was a nurse and was a CNA, I had to wear navy. Popular color, however I HATE it

Large hospital system in Wisconsin, we can wear whatever we want. I prefer solid colors from too to bottom but I do own a couple prints.

Requiring women to wear white pants is evil. For that reason alone I wouldn't work there!
Navy nurses, and gray tech. Looks like a rainy day at our hospital! You would think a hospital would allow us to wear bright, happy colors to cheer the patients up. What is the evidence-based reason for dress codes? Is there one?

We can wear any color/print we want. I'm a boring solid color matchy-matchy person. But I like wearing contrasting/printed long sleeve shirts underneath.

I agree! I think it may have originally been an idea to help patients identity but everywhere is different. We pay our dues I wish we could pick a color as long as it looks clean & professional.
