How much did you pay for your online RN to BSN program?

Hello everyone, I just got accepted into Norther Arizona University's online RN to BSN program. I am out of state, so my out of state tuition may be up to $19,410. I was wondering if I should settle with this or look into other programs.

So, how much did you pay for your education; did you pay out of state tuition? Can the classes fit for a full time worker? Tell us about your program!

I attended Spring Arbor University (metro-Toledo site in Temperance MI) in 2008. It was either a 18 or 20 month cohort program (cannot remember exactly). Cost at the time was about $18,000 (give or take and books were included, lived in Ohio, but no out of state fee). Had to be an RN for at least one to two years. Met one night a week for four hours, no clinical:up:. one class at a time, no tests, APA format papers due every week, attendance mandatory. Great instructors and it was faith based (Free Methodist), so we could if we wanted, to interject our beliefs or spirituality within our papers. I loved it, and the teaching style was student centered. Very doable with work and compatible with life.

I am sorry I did not continue on for my master degree (on-line with occasional campus visits). :banghead: The college now university where I did obtain my master degree was a joke and a royal rip-off.

Grand canyon university, total came out to around $17000 (they used to have 10% off tuition if u belonged to the American Nurses Association..i think they may have dropped that)

each class 5 weeks long.....usually 1 paper due at the end of each week.....every now and then 2 papers......most classes at a grou pproject, which was normally a powerPoint presentation..very easy if 1 had a decent group...... As well each week 1 had 2 discussion questions (DQ) due, 1 due Wed and the other Fri..very straight forward,and of course u had to reply so many times to other students posts. Very well laid out online classroom..library staff were very helpful as well. I thought it was a very straight forward program, and all the classes followed the same format, so no surprises. 1 program u are going to want to buy is Perrla APA PERRLA software helps students properly format papers in APA style and create citations and references - PERRLA.com Wil help with ur formatting of the paper..references/citations....best of luck

I'm not there yet, but I will heavily consider 's online RN-BSN because the cost is so attractive and their reputation isn't too bad either.

I paid a grand total of $5800 for the RN-to-BSN completion program at . I completed the program in 2015. This program is not conducive to everyone's learning style since it is competency-based.

I am half-way through Capella's Flexpath program. It is $2500 every 12 weeks, and I needed the 11 nursing courses and a humanities course. So far I have paid $5,000 and if I stay on track I'm hoping to pay a total of $10,000. That is with finishing one course a month.

I paid $3500 for my RN to BSN through . I finished the program in six months which was the equivalent of one term at the university.
